enough with playing , time for BIG BUCKS

hello stackers ,

i spent the last couple months playing around , reading case studies etc

but NO action which is SUcks

so i decided to start a new follow along and document everything i am doing

i am gonna start with PPV

i already have VPS with beyond hosting with prosper installed on it

i am gonna sign up with MaxCdn to make the loading time faster

the offer i am promoting is payday loan

i got a good angle and i am designing 4 landing page right now to upload and split testing

i always got a good result with my landers on ppv i get about 15% on US market which i think is good so i hop i get the same result

also i am launching a new campaign about offer my dentist match from A4D pays 6$

the weird thing is when i tried to check google keyword tool for KW related to dentists i found that i get like 700 search a month which is TOOOOOOOO low but when i searched manually i found many sites and according to quantcast it get like 100k visit a week and some get about 500k a week visit , Weird

so that is for today and tomorrow after my ad get approved and running i will report my stats and also launch two more campaigns

one more question please
what metrics do you use for this kind of offers ? its payday pays 8$ first page
if url spent X$ kill or something ?? i have 30 URL to lower the testing budget

PS: i also will launch some international campaign if anyone have some tips

PSS : i am from Egypt and not native english speaker so i am sorry about any grammer or spelling mistake

Action Road = only road to successland.

There are no set metric rules. Obviously without spending $8+ per target you haven't given it a fair shot. But most people for a test aren't prepared to spend that much, so just set you initial budget at say $50 and look for any trends. It's good that you are keeping your targets tight at the start.

Your english is good!

Yes, there are no definite rules in PPV/CPA. For example, when it comes to bidding: Some say that you should be prepared to bid, so that you will get some initial traffic. Which, in turn, enables you to quickly determines whether or not your target (keyword or URL) has potential. On the other hand, some say that you should not get into bidding, intitially. Rather, you should just see what happen, without spending a lot of your budget. Personally, if you ask me, I like to bid, a little - but never any crazy, high bids. Just to attract some traffic from the popular targets.

I have tried Payday Loans, and it has been with some success. Meaning, I have had conversions, since I joined this forum and begun with AM, and PPV/CPA in May -12. However, I have never been in the green, i.e. with a positive, financial result. I have also come to realize that Payday Loans are, just like iphone campaigns, a competitive market - there are many affiliates here, and they are experienced and they have bigger budgets than me. Lately, I've backed away from Payday, and focused more on modest campaigns. In the spirit of the STM 40 Day Guide.

So, I have also tried campaigns like, for example, "Find Local Dentist". However, they just do not seem to "lift". I mean, there are some clicks (10-15% sometimes), but hardly any conversions. It is probably me. I got to continue to polish my texts, my images, and my landers. (Sometimes I just want to reach out, grab the web surfer, and shake him or her, and ask (with a firm voice): "Hey! You did read my landing page for more than 4-5 seconds, you saw that it was about X (my campaign). Listen, if you click the yellow button, and arrive on the offer page, you should logically also go thru with it! Just do it!" )

Keep on working, and report back to us, and we'll provide support and feedback.

ok first update is here

i am promoting a toolbar offer "moms free recipes"

first campaign target generals URLS about recipes etc

the second is target rachael ray site , and made the landing page match the site but there is hardly any traffic for this site

but there is something happened and i didn't know what to do so i need your help a little

i have 2 landing pages each recieved 200 views first one's CTR is about 8% but no conversion
the second one is 0.38% and 1 click to the offer and 1 conversion

so i don't know what to do now should i pause this landing page or no

anyway i spent 15$ and made 3.5$ " one conversion "

what i am gonna do is to make couple new landing pages and test it

i am also starting two new campaigns today
jersey shore pays 2$
and Wizared101 from ProfitKingsMedia (btw if you reading this Ian , you ROCK dude )
so today i lost 11$ in testing but its ok i will keep testing and launching new campaigns until i found a WINNER

i also started another campaign for antivirus download pay 1.90$ and this have been very profitable for me

i have ROI of 100%

but the bad news is , i am stuck at bidding war and i don't know what to do , any suggestion please ??

so here is some stats
antivirus offer :
spent 15$
earned 35$
profit : 20$ OH YEAH

i am increased my bid to be the top bidder and also i paused the non converting URLS , and added other variations of the converting urls from the domain typo tools from affexpert

i am gonna launch another campaign today for gaming offer and see how it goes

PS : any help about the bidding war will be much appreciated

Great to see you are having some success with this. I've also started the PPV route. Just breaking even right now. Good Luck.
