Hello everyone ,
I want to consult with you about some things .
Ok i am now running mobile for about 2-3 months and i am still doesn't find a way to become profitable .
I run a lot of test! and find some campaigns that only become to break even or -10% ROI max.
For now i only test CPI and 1 page lead gen offers .
I am only direct linking for now and i am starting now to create some LP .
That my best stats for now -
Clicks/CTR / CR /ROI
3,093/2.75 %/1.39 % / -24.21 %
931 /3.09 %/1.07 %/-16.60 %
Ok my questions are -
1)How can i improve my CR rate , i am thinking about start using LP but because its CPI offer i am not sure its will help what do you think?
2)Do you think that i can become profitable from this stats (its after a long optimization)?
3)What do you are the key points to become profitable on mobile , i learn a lot from all the testing and always take notes and fix my mistakes but i am still doesn't find a way to get a better CR rate ?
4)You think that LP can work and improve CR rate on low payout offers like App installs and 1 page lead gens ?
Thanks for helping , Ido
1. Lander is definitely worth trying! In your ad copy try mentioning exactly what you want a user to do.
2. It's too hard to tell, don't know how bawse your creatives or targeting are.
3. More testing. There are no sweeping answers that will apply to all campaigns.
4. Yes.
Churr.
1) for tracking clicks you need a 3rd party tracker like imobitrax or mobaff's
2) I build landers off of http://html5boilerplate.com/mobile. Keep the landers simple and make your site load as fast as possible.
It is very difficult to say whether you can turn it around or not on specific campaigns by only revealing your stats. I am not suggesting that you reveal camps/creatives, but to get true feedback, this would be necessary. For example, if your creatives are wack, then you can still make it work on a good offer even if you are currently getting a -ROI by setting your creatives straight. But if everything looks good and bang on, and you still can't get it to work after "long optimization", then I would suggest to move on b/c the offer is probably crap. Don't fall in love w/ any offer simply b/c YOU think it works. If the offer is proven network wide, that is a different story.
