Why you are going to use incentivized TapJoy traffic?

jumptap is not allow this offer.

Mundo has a lot of their own offers.

Signup with other networks and see what theyre top iPad AU offers are. Couple good ones are usually out at the same time

UPDATE:

I set up separate landpgs for each phone provider.
I tested one lp with about 8-9 different creatives.
I'm ACTUALLY quite surprised. It was pretty profitable.

Spent : $15 (5/day on inmobi)
Rev: $58.40

My Tracking Problem:

As you can see nothings adding up. I'm losing a crazy amount of clicks.
Idk how I even made a profit here, but Im not satisfied cause I feel
like I could've made more.

a lot of the click loss can be from prosper (direct linking using many subids is best and then analyze data using pivot tables. this will of course minimize click discrepancies but is more tedious to dig through data. some networks also just have large click discrepencies even without tracking in between.just accept it and go off your aff networks numbers not the ad network.

i never ran mobile offers BUT , i remeber reading that somewhere

always get rid of any tracking , prosper or cpvlap

don't use any you will find it more profitable and less clicks loss

i remember reading that by the angry Russian i guess

Is this accurate? Anyone can comment?

Not really correct.
Removing the tracking will make the loading speed faster for sure, there is no denying in that.
If you however have a fast server this is not really an issue. I prefer to use tracking and get data with some clickloss than just to run directly to the network but I guess everyone has their own preferences.

Should I host my lp on a vps and cdn?
or can it be on a normal shared hoster with a cdn?

09-01-2012 11:19 PM #13 tap1on (Member)

host everything on a vps and use cdn for images and javascripts.
I highly recommend you getting a vps instead of shared hosting.

The only problem is that the cdn is going to effect my subdomain.

Anyone know if its possible to have it in the subdirectory?

Not sure why no one uses cloud hosting for scalable traffic

I think its because most people will listen to someone in a forum instead of trying it for themselves.

Update:

Today, I uploaded 10 creatives per provider/platform
on two different ad networks. (inmobi + leadbolt)

I created 7 lp's, each catering to a separate provider/platform.

I'm currently awaiting for the approval of the ads.

tono looks like you're doing real fine there. Just get a decent VPS, stop worrying about click loss, use bbrock's STM mobile tracker, or go without tracker at all, just track via subids. focus more on scaling it into different mobile networks asap and watch your numbers grow! best of all mate. 1 day you're not scaling, you're just losing more money on the table that day, by worrying and researching for the "best" servers and trackers. You can always switch them in later when you hit the xxx/day or xxxx/day

^Great advice, thanks bud.

UPDATE:

All my ads were approved and were running for the pass two days.
Now, Idk if I was just lucky my first couple of days? But things haven't
been as pretty.

I've been rotating 5-6 different ipad offers to see which ones did the best
with my LP. Only one that converted was the one I had to begin with.

Spent:$42.79
Rev: $14.6
Profit: -28.19
