FB - Gaming Email Submit - My Campaign

Hey guys, I'm completely new to PPC so going to share my whole campaign to see what you guys think I can do to improve it? (This campaign is just for learning really..)

I've started off with Facebook and a Email submit which pays out $1.65.. thought i'd go with something that (i'm guessing) will convert easier than most offers just to get some experience.

The Offer:

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 - CPA - $1.65 - Email Submit (Affillion)
Their landing page takes the user through 4 questions before asking for email.

My Ads:

The adverts link to here. This page then has links to the offer.

I have put my landing page on this website (in blog format), as it's a website that I have had for around a year now. Used to get a lot of traffic from SEO, so I thought the authority of it might help with trust.

I am thinking about hosting a "typical" landing page on this domain instead and directing to there - instead of the blog post format it currently has to see if this affects conversion rate.

Clicks / Costs so far:

Adverts are now paused until I can make some improvements considering they are making a loss.
Bare in mind, these are in pounds so costs = $24.65.

Earnings:

Clicks - 93
Conversions - 7
7.5% conversion rate.
Earnings - $11.55

Before making this campaign I tried posting the offer on a facebook fan page that I own to see if it converts which had these results:

Clicks - 137
Conversions - 24
17.5% conversion rate.
Earnings - $29.60

If anyone can give me some pointers on how I can improve this it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Hmm, that's a pain.

Are you from the US, it redirects you to other offers if not.

My advice would be to delete this campaign from your account before FB finds out you are trying to promote an email submit and bans you.

It's pretty well known that they hate these kind of offers and will ban you for running it.

The problem is that users complain and FB is all about user experience.

Haha I see, great start then huh.

Well, at least i've already learnt something. Are there any other specific types of offers like this that they will ban you for?

Still interested on how I could have improved this campaign though.

I think email submits, coreg type offers where the user is getting somewhat mislead about what is happening.

The best thing to do is check the offer page in My Web of Trust http://www.mywot.com/ If the site comes back in the red area with a bunch of complaints, ie "this is scam site" ect. Then don't try to run that offer on FB.

The thing is even if you get something approved and working if it's a deceptive offer and people start complaining by clicking the X- block this ad button, you could have problems.

ya man , you going to get banned running email submits on fb for sure, only way its safe to run those is going to be via cloaking if that is affordable in your budget for these type of campaigns, 2 years ago email submits used to kill on fb ,but those wild west days of fb are very much over now.

I don't think it's worth to risk your account for this... get another account just for gray stuff.
