Still Wondering Why Choose Beyond Hosting?

Hey guys,

Can't help but choose to make a thread like this because I really LOVE the way that how BeyondHosting is handling their clients.

Recently I ran into a problem whereby the data on my P202 can't even be loaded out after I clicked on the "Analyze" tab due to too much volume. I'm talking about millions of clicks per day. The date range has been set to one day but still, it doesn't help.

So I was guessing it might be my server's problem (Currently on the R410 package with Beyond). Maybe it's not fast enough? Maybe because it's not SSD? I don't know because I'm not a technical guy.

So I made a ticket, instead of asking for help, I asked for a server upgrade, to their R610 package - which is the highest package among dedicated server.

This is where the interesting part came in. Instead of proceeding with the upgrade, Tyler & Matt offered to check for me and advised me not to spend unnecessary money IF I'm not fully utilizing the server's spec.

I mean, how on earth there are people like him, willing to put himself into client's shoes and make the right recommendation? I believe most businesses would have put their profit at first...

Anyway, just want to share this with you guys because being a customer, I find this very convincing for me to host with BeyondHosting for life. Apart from the support, they have their business moral value too!

ya thats what i love, they dont try to upsell you on shit, i asked them this very same question a while back and they told me i dont need to spend extra money on something i dont need, if i need it they will let me know. beyond hosting is the ONLY company i know that operates like this.

Couldn't agree more here. I've been using them for a year and a half now, and I had an issue over the weekend and got responses to my trouble ticket within 5 minutes of opening it, and they helped me diagnose and fix the problem within the hour. I also had a similar experience where they could have easily upsold me on a higher costing package due to my lack of technical knowledge, but instead figured out a way to make my current one work more efficiently. Huge fan of how this company does business.

Posts like these make me happy that we chose them to be our exclusive hosting partner for Prosper202.

Now I'm back to work on code updates that will make sure the problem you just had becomes a thing of the past.

I'm sure yYou + other Prosper202 users + Tyler + BeyondHosting team will all appreciate this

When you say millions of clicks from Media Buys you mean that every impression of each of your banners is counted like a new subid in Prosper ?

Were planning to put the machines into production this friday. We will slowly begin moving VPS onto them to make sure theres no issues. We will never do an all in one move.

If you want to open a ticket next week I can get you moved over.

We ran the iozone test liquidweb advertises on their website and smashed their scores by a good amount. I'll post up our benchmarks later once I feel confident disclosing the information. :-)

I love BH. They're awesome people, especially for people like me who don't know shit about hosting beyond where my ftp folder is.

Do you have a ticket in? Whats the ticket ID. Starter/Hybrid packages have a 1 click installer.
