PPV Email/zip submit (Get hired/Find a job), US

Vertical: Email/zip submit
Offer Type: Get hired/Find a job
CPA Networks: EWA & Peerfly
Country Target: United States
Daily budget: $5
Traffic Network: Leadimpact
Target Types: Short, top-domain URLs, scraped with the aid of Affexpert Tools. I used these types of terms when I did the URL scraping: job/jobs/get hired/find a job.
Number of targets (URLs) to start with: All in all, when the campaign starts, about 200.
DL/LPs: I will direct link, to three offers, initially. Will set upp LPs soon.
Tracking: CPVlab
Hosting (both LPs and tracking): BeyondHosting.net, package: "Hybrid"

Just a campaign, nothing special. This time I am going to learn how to build a campaign on generic, high-traffic URLs. (Previously I used mostly keywords and long-tailed, focused URLs).

My overall AM/PPV/learning strategy is to launch a couple of quality campaigns, run them, test, optimize, and see what works. I mean, eventually, I surely must get some conversions and some however-small profit, at least for some days. ;D

I am awaiting target acceptance from Leadimpact, which will come soon, and then I will monitor this campaign closely as soon as it starts, i.e. the targets/traffic. Will keep you guys posted.

Keep on rocking Stackers!

Updates

Screenshot shows the generic URLs eating traffic, with very few clicks

And the performance of the four LPs -- 1 conversion

Here are the four LPs used so far:

The 4 LPs send the web users to 3 different types of "find a job/get hired"-offers. LP1 and LP2 sent the web user an offer for typing jobs (i.e. typing, data entry jobs, and similar). LP3 sent the user to an offer for public jobs, and LP4 to an offer for jobs thru the US Recovery Act, e.g. government jobs.

It might seem odd to use generic, broad URLs to catch web surfers and then send them to very narrow, focused type of job offers (e.g. typing, the Job Recovery Act). Yeah, I know. But I guess I am just testing and, hopefully, learning PPV here. My idea was, as said, to test generic URLs to attract lots of traffic -- unlike my previous campaigns where I used focused targets (e.g. long-tail, focused URLs).

How to move forward? I will keep the best LP (3) and test some new versions of it, and gather some more data. Also, the LPs so far have been simple images. I will try and make some css/php ones too, with geo ip and stuff, as soon as I have the opportunity and the energy. Stack on!
