Hey, so with my experience in ppv ive realised that when targeting related urls and keywords volume is very limited, thus so is revenue.. can anyone having success with ppv chime in and maybe tell me if I need to take angles with most ppv campaigns?
Sometimes it's easier to find the high volume targets first, then build an angle that aims to exploit that market.
Plucking 1000 low traffic targets in the hope that they'll all be profitable stacks the odds strongly against you. It's easier to pick your URL - one that has a very tight demographic, and a lot of visitors - then exploit the brand recognition and various visual cues associated to that URL.
You will need to rotate through multiple offers to find a winner, but when you do, the scaling is much easier.
re: Finch - Definitely the way to go. What I've found is that if I get something profitable on high volume targets, it converts even better on low volume targets (my thinking is that far fewer pubs are probably targeting these). So once I get the high volume ones, I can go back and dump a few thousand low-volume targets in and there will almost always be some nice gems with huge ROI but tiny volume in there. Icing on the cake.
Finch smack back on the money, ask your rep for a list of their highest volume keywords, install the adware on a virtual machine or dodgy old computer and check out what people are running on these websites, will give you some inspiration of what people are making work thats for sure
There is some really good money to be made targeting the high volume keywords/urls, and its good because you get your testing done very quickly and can find what works very fast. Good luck champ
who got the highest volume domain lists from Leadimpact , please share it. O(∩_∩)O
sweet! thanks guys
I've only been using URL's - building them through research tools like quantcast and google adplanner. I have a guide if interested, I'll post it here on STM soon.
