Hey guys!
I posted these questions in one of existing threads, but it seemed to have more chances to be answered here.
In general, there is no mobile landing page dedicated tutorial here (sorry if I didn't find it).
I am planning to run massive mobile traffic to static landing pages.
What is the best configuration in this case?
I am on shared hosting (HostGator) now.
Is it possible to load all the files (html + images) to CDN?
Is it enough to use CDN with shared hosting?
Or do I need to use VPS with CDN?
What is the recommended maximum file size?
I have domain mydomain.com for landing pages. Is it ok to use mydomain.com/lp1 or should it be m.mydomain.com/lp1?
What tools do you use to build mobile lp?
Any tips/resources/rules specific for mobile lp?
Thanks,
Dani
dont used shared hosting, get a vps for sure.
domain doesnt matter at all.
After you built ur lp check it with: http://gtmetrix.com/ and it will show you how you can optimize
VPS for sure as a minimum.
yes you can run all your pages of your CDN as long as it doesnt use any server side apps like PHP.
some CDNs are easier then others for this.
You need VPS for your tracking - like 202.
If you dont use self hosted tracking - then you can drop VPS all together.
With Cloudfront you can set a bucket up to act like a website. You just need to make sure you only use html, css,js and no php/python
