Domain for Prosper202?

Does it matter what the domain is for prosper202? Should you have a domain that is low pro?

Ex: www.1xa.com or something like www.valueclicks.com or www.mydates.com???

I haven't done this before, and am not sure what is the best way to go?
Thanks

Don't matter get a .info and throw away in a year

Why throw away in a year? (does it get listed as a spam domain?)

Also, the domain name for prosper202 is just to host the program, and a user will not see the domain correct? (I think I am confusing a dating lander domain - www.mydatesdomain.com with the prosper tracking domain)???

Thanks

i say throw it away because after a while ppl will start buying pop up traffic after on your p202 domain, ppl will also once they start seeing your p202 on ads, start following you around and digging into your traffic sources. for best practice i think its good to change up your p202 domains periodically so why pay for a .com, get a .info and let it expire, before it expires buy a new .info and move your traffic over to the new domain.

ya i mean what i do is even i have a diff. prosper202 install for every traffic source i run on since i do quite a few media buys. of course they are all hosted on diff. ips on my box so if ppl want to hunt my traffic sources down its a bit harder to do. also i let them expire in a year and move them over to other installs, i think ive gone through 50 p202 domains in my 3 year career. always check and see if ppl are bidding on your domains at the big ppv networks, if they are then its def. going to make some diff. in your conversions because ppl are popping ads on top of yours. this is just my philosophy and how i do things, probably other ways around it but this is how i get down on p202

Shoent - so if you have 5 different sites you are buying traffic from, then you have 5 different P202 domains for tracking? At the end of the year you copy the database over to a new domain and keep the tracking data?

What are the techniques to hunt down traffic sources? I know there is a post here, but I would like to see what your thoughts are?

Thanks for the insights!

ya you can do that, if you dont want to transfer over then just renew. as far as hunting down traffic sources, type a few p202 install domains into alexa.com and check clickstream
