I'm new on this forum .. you can go take a quick look at my intro if ya want too!
I'm starting this follow a long because my main goal in my intro, which is my short term goal, is to hit 300$ a day of profit and I already have a profitable campaign at the moment that brought me 1300 of profit in 2 week and a half.
I started 1 month ago so I guess it's a good start!
I'll be updating each day my move and my profit or lost and I hope you guys can help me and share your opinion on this thread so I can reach this 300$ a day.
so for today I'll start from where I'm at in my campaign.
I found a profitable angle in a certain area for a dating offer and I'm actually at scaling it to other website and traffic source.
Tonight I'll be creating new banner since some of them the CTR is droping because it has been running for 2 weeks ..
my average CTR is 7-9 clicks / 1k impression and I use a lander which convert at 50-65%.
Now I'm actually trying to see if other offer could convert more since I heard from my affiliate manager that maybe some other offer could convert more.
I picked my offer at the beginning because the payout was the higher .. which is 6$ for single opt in.
anyway so that's about it for the moment I'll create banner tonight and maybe hope I can call a contact from my traffic source so he can add them :P.
I'll give you numbers and new tomorrow !
PS: on weekend I might miss a few post since I have a life -.-

Good to see you've a solid angle performing well for you. The more details on your campaign you share, the more help/suggestion you'll get from others. Pls share some more details of your campaign, like your current traffic source, the traffic sources you're planning to scale it to, offer, country,etc..

I want to scale to : exoclicks and adsexpansion also - never used both of these traffic source yet.

DAY 1 UPDATE
I would like to start by claping for myself since I forgot to add funds yesterday ... -.- anyway ...
I had fund for about 2 hours maximum lol -.- so here are the result
SPEND: $6.50
CLICKS: 152
LANDER CLICKS: 113
REVENUE: $24
PROFIT: $17.5
ROI:: 269%
... oh well that's a first day with forgeting to adds fund :P
CTR were looking a little over average but I have new banners that will get approved by the traffic source today and I hope they will do good.
Today's goal ... add fund see what the new banners are doing and try to open up on a new site.

Which offer are you pushing?
well it doesn't matter from that point I don't want to reveald the whole campaign yet ... and for the moment I don't think it does matter.
I'm planning on testing other similar offer ... the payout is lower but maybe it convert a lot more .. since my conversion with my pre-selling lander is only about at 3-4 % and it's a opt in offer.

And great first step in posting a follow along.
As you already tested different regions, and that turned out not to work, i recommend keeping the campaign the same and maybe expanding to one additional but similar traffic source.
Also - if you know which sites are converting well for you - check them out. See where else you could buy traffic for those sites.
yes I'll just scale the campaign as much as I can and then I'll try to make other area to convert.
I'm thinking about scaling it to mobile since the 3 site I run at the moment also us mobile traffic ... I'll test it maybe this weekend.
If you guys have any idea or tips about mobile traffic leave it here ... I think I'll keep the same angle since it's the same offer promotion ... the offer page change tho.

so I forgot as I said for a part of the day to put funds ... I usually do more volume than that .. but the day is not done yet ... and sorry for the short post I got to go for today and tomorrow.
my new banner are having 8-12 click 1k impression which is nice!!!

Okay yet this weekend it's going pretty good .
#1 I need more volume since I'm targeting very narrow. I'll be working on it this week to at least spend 60-100$ a day.
#2 I have a banner that has 15.84 clicks / 1k impression ))) ( I might share it when the CTR drops very low ) 
(by the way I'm not good at designing so I guess ugly stuff does well)
#3 next step scale scale scale ... so I need to test a new area ... I'll be creating banner for this area and let you know how it goes

What I recommend is at least showing on each page of every website they offer, so for example top right or footer and video a or b so you get all the traffic you can get !

damn that's beastly. I always heard JHU was all about the scrubbing. What network are you running it through? Did you choose JHU from the start or split test it with other offers?
You split testing landers or just rolling with one? You might be able to pump some more ROI out of it just by tweaking the lander.

well .. I tested for about $50 in other area with justhookup and it didn't convert at all!
I'm using a very special angle here ... but for the moment my ROI is great and I'll keep doing what I'm doing in this are.
I'll scale to other country and try other offer since JHU doesn't convert ...
my lander convert at about 80%+ most days tested 3 and it was the best one.
I didn't test other offer yet in my area and I use adsimilis.com ... date connected could be higher (payout) I'm looking at it with them ... they got to see my quality first.
@maynzie: you think I should be using it everywhere ? there is one think I'm scare of is burning my traffic too quickly and having a lower ROI since I target only 1 province in canada yet.
I'm also thinking going on other network like exoclicks for site like xhamster and other popular one!
I choose the latter personally, you get more say over the network you run with regarding caps and very high paybumps, you also get a much more consistent conversion rate and in turn can make a whole lot more money but yeah it just depends on what you want personally, either works, but the higher volume is usually the way to go

Great follow along so far man, good ROI. How did you wind up finding the right targeting on traffic junky? Did you spend a lot testing?

well I didn't start by going with traffic junky and then finding an offer .. I picked an offer and then I picked the right traffic source that's more easier this way.
#1 pick an offer
#2 create a message
#3 choose your traffic source
that's the way I did it.
New months - new goals
I didn't post for a while now. I was very busy on trying to keep the things working.
I brought it over 300$ a day for the month of august and now I'm around 600-800$ a day.
This month I'll do my best to keep the follow along more active and share some stuff I'm doing.
#1 I have 1 solid campaign working and I want to finish scaling it and optimizing it.
#2 I'm working on 2-3 other country to scale it and my goals is to finish the actual one and than scale it to the other 2-3 countries.
#3 I want to hit 10-15 days (of average profit of 1k)
#4 I want to get out of my confort zone and I want to try learning more coding to do my own landing page and I WANNA TEST MORE AND MORE ... that's something I'm not doing enough ... and I figured out that sometimes it can be suprising.
#5 My last goal is a funnel. I want to start a funnel around the niche I'm working on and I want to invest 20-25% of my time on it.
For Today since every trafficsource (or almost) are close until tuesday... I'll be creating new creative and I'll be trying to tweak a few lander to test on tuesday.
PS: if someone is actually decent with coding (just simple thing like adding a timer - adding basic image etc ..) I would really appreciate a private message or maybe even a skype ID to talk a bit just to give me so basic tips.
