It seems my biggest challenge w/FB Dating is to get Images to stick, I do not know exactly why the disapproval occurs. About every 250-500 clicks per Ad, the Odds of being Retro-ed skyrocket.
Today
11 ads were F***ed in the A**.
Yesterday
3 ads were F***ed in the A**.
How do you conquer these Retros? Knowing the precise cause will help. Is it actual users triggering this? Or FB? Its kind of consistent so maybe its FB? I should call/email them?
Either Way, the only strategy I have been following is keep on testing different images until others begin to stick. What strategy have you developed??
Wish FB was a tad more specific on the reason.
Please help if you're a FB Veteran Retro Survivor:

FB stockdrops 8% today. BooYa!
Most of the images I've found to perform best were body shots, Maybe I should start testing faces shots? Do Face shots last longer than body shots in general?
You're right - body shots perform really well. But like you say, they get retro'd every time. It seems FB just comes down like a tonne of bricks with any dating ad that gets a good CTR.
FB Ads whole ad serving process is kind of backwards. They mostly retro ads because of user complaints. Yet to get a good CTR you need to catch someone's eye with your image. The more eye-catching the image, the more people that notice the ad, the higher chance you'll get of people complaining about your ad. The higher your CTR, the higher chance you'll get retro'd. It's such a fine line that's getting ever more non-existent.
Thanks for the tip.
No one has any input on overcoming retro disproves?
Like Richard mentioned, it's the complaints mate.
Makes you wonder why anyone would complain:
- fat chicks or older women getting ads meant for men?
- guys expecting a hot chick to reach out and grab their nutsack when they click the ad. Instead, they're pissed they ended up on a boring old dating site LP.
Dunno...
