Where are you running traffic to begin with? There is a lot of testing in IM.
haha sounds exactly like my story. I've been sitting on $1,000+/day for the entire year until last week when I dropped to only a few hundred day, (stupid AT&T).. Being trying crap but nothings working.
Hit me up with a PM, I'd love to get you on skype and brainstorm some ideas, etc.
Bro, since you're doing so well on mobile, then why didn't you thought of scaling it to web version? That makes sense right?
Btw, do you direct linking on your mobile campaign or you use a lander?
Since you said "your primary source is mobile only". I assume you don't even want to run it on web.
Duplicating your campaign over to web is the easiest thing to do than starting a new campaign from scratch because you already have a proven one on mobile. But I can see your hesitant on doing that.
Guess you're only looking for another thing to "arbitrage" just like your current mobile campaign that runs on auto pilot. Glad that you've found one, but it ain't easy to come by a second campaign like this again.
If some is good, more is better.
Stick to what you're good at. If mobile dating has worked for you, do it more. Better to be great at 1 thing, than mediocre after several things.
In my opinion, since you're dependand on one source for all of your income if I read your post right, your position is extremely volatile.
The most important thing is to save up some cash if that's possible (and it definately should be given your numbers) for some times when the campaign dies step for step. Try to move into new areas with scaled funds, just the get the basic idea. You don't need to be spending 4 digits to 'learn' a traffic source and see that you can profit from there.
Make sure you don't stick into a pattern that you will see similiar numbers like with your winning campaign right away. Start small, grow slow, fail and learn. There's nothing to avoid it. You are in an extremely good position being financially well backed up, take the advantage of this position and spend your time usefully to master new traffic sources. It might be boring to jump around with 2-3 digits campaigns, but once you get the idea of it, you'll be able to scale.
Don't take numbers you are used to as a standard for testing new campaigns / new traffic sources.
Stick to your niche and try to scale that up.
being able to scale as an affiliate often begins before you even start the campaign. There have been some great posts on this already but the points that have helped me the most are make sure you are picking a vertical and traffic source that has the potential for scale. It doesn't take that much more effort to make a $1000 / day campaign from a $100 / day. I.e., with dating, I was able to hit my biggest profits by building a campaign to $500 / day in the US and then scaling it to UK, CA, and AU very easily without the need for translation. Easy scaling, that brought the profit to $1k. Then, I paid to get the campaign translated and am now adding in even more geos. The point is, don't pick a tiny niche or a traffic source that you know doesn't have the volume that you can scale to x,xxx / day. Your time is limited and valuable so treat it that way. Research your vertical and traffic source before you even get started to make sure your hard work pays off in a major way
Test test test! The only way to see what works and what doesn't. Don't spend all your budget on one offer, just incase issues arrise.
