Prosper202 leak referrer?
really don't know what I did wrong, my prosper202 offer link leaks referrer often (tested this myself a few times with VPN) but it does show blank referrer too so that tells me I did turn cloaking on.
it shows referrer when they click the prosper202 link from my landing page, in my other thread I needed help on how to redirect to the offer through a subpage, hoping that if it does leak referrer, it will show the subpage, but nope it still showed the landing page as referrer.
wanted to know what's wrong before changing all links on my landing page or if I create a new tracking link, it might leak later on. really don't want to risk it because I'm with a network with a lot of offers I need.
it shows clicks on prosper but no clicks on CPA network..just to make sure I'm not wrong, advertisers and networks also track/look at clicks referrers correct? so for all the leaked referrers from me testing, does that mean they would know my landing page? I should switch to another offer?
So many questions
Thanks!

Get an SSL certificate (free 1-yr SSL with a domain @ namecheap.com), it'll blank the referrer without any slow downs from redirects, meta refresh, etc.
Use this site to test for leaked referrers: http://www.stardrifter.org/cgi-bin/ref.cgi
Hope that helps

Do you know if it is possible to use their ssl on a subdomain, or it is only available for the main domain?

You can have the SSL installed solely for the subdomain and not the root domain. Be aware that you need a dedicated IP for an SSL, in other words, only 1 domain can be hosted on that IP.

My links from bevo don't leak, Never had any issues.
they have the option to cloak and SSL the tracking url within the steps
If your not script savvy to change your p202 script to SSL Its much easier I found.

I see that using HTTPS i add a 0.5 sec. loading time, it's not good for PPV.
Basically if i don't want to raise loading time i can leave my PPV landing page on HTTP, then
if a user clicks on the landing page is redirected to a PHP page ( HTTPS ) that redirects to the offer ?
This way the latency it's not on the PPV landing page but only when the user clicks on the lander.
What do you think?
