Be2 next to be wiped by FTC(or something similar)?

I think it is already an open secret that Be2 will charge usd200+ to your credit card when they promise a free trial...

I have a fan page for Be2 for quite some time and almost everyone comes to my page to rant about how Be2 is a scam... Ripping off $xxx from their account without their knowledge etc...

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Be2/221854164564388

Simple google search "be2 scam" and dozens of scam reporting website came up...

I am just afraid that FTC would come after small affiliates like me... Especially after reports of what they had done to the acai berries marketers.

Can someone share some insight? I have been making quite good money promoting Be2 (of course white hat) Should I stop? Or continue to stack the money and risk having FTC coming after me?

I don't think you'll have the FTC coming after you... they are after people who false advertised, or had advertising that was completely misleading (ie news style sites).

So Be2 is legal and perfectly fine? And the people who were complaining are loser who just can't find love on Be2, want to get out but can't get a refund? And they just a tiny portion of Be2, customer who were unsatisfied?

So Be2 is here to stay for the long-term? If not, I got to start preparing another offer to swop in should anything happen to Be2 offers...

Its the same in every niche. The advertiser has to make money in order to offer those high payouts. Everyone is in it for the money, not to satisfy the end user.
Take any offer and look up rip off report. You will find complaints about almost any offer.
Most people dont read the fine print and dont really know what they are getting into when signing up. That doesnt automatically make the offer a scam.

Dude, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Be2, Be2 has been around since 2004, I dont see why FTC suddenly will come after it or affiliates. Almost every high quality dating site is rebill type of membership. What other offer will you run? Eharmony, Mate1, True.com, date.com...guess what they all charge for memberships.

Don't worry about Be2, they're not doing anything shady. People are going to complain about anything, even legit programs as soon as their wife finds them on the dating site.

So Be2 is safe to run? What ever happened to True, how do I get back on that offer That was sick last summer!

This. Be2 is a solid company with a solid reputation. Every single dating site has billing complaints. It's as simple as people not reading the terms, and then seeing an unfamiliar charge on their credit card and screaming about it.

Hmm... that is interesting, however a lot of legitimate websites have "scam" results littered on google. Many BBB Certified. You may be jumping to conclusions.

if you're not from the US and you're advertising an offer that is for INTL and nothing you're doing has any contact or effect or presence in the US, then I wouldn't be too concerned about the FTC, also if your advertising is whitehat, the FTC even if they had jurisdiction wouldn't have too strong a case against you, like someone already mentioned, the main thing they were going after was the combination of the misleading news LPs + the negative option billing with terms not readily accessible that were generating a massive amount of consumer complaint

I've said it a million times before: the federal trade commission applies to USA citizens. The only country they may* remoetly bother is Canada or United Kingdom, and even thats a long shot. (keep in mind, this is not me encouraging to do anything wrong lol).
