I'm holding back a minor panic attack while I type this
I'm so new to Paid traffic, but I think a follow along will really help me
I will try my best to update daily, but until my kiddo gets back to school, my time is limited at best.
Goal #1- Get CTR for 4-5 ads at .1 or better
Goal #2 - Figure out the FB tracking
Goal #3 - Break even
I talked to my aff managers at Neverblue/Maxbounty - I just got in at EWA & was assigned an aff manager today, so I will ask him for his advice later today.
Looking for a solid campaign that has done well on FB for at least the past 3 mths that is NOT dating - this just isn't my thing I decided. Also looking to start internationally.
Neverblue gave me a few game ideas to try out - for intl traffic there is a quick dl game that converts at $1.25/lead & a Bingo offer that converts at $11/lead
Maxbounty said to try out their Bingo campaigns - 45+ Female - AU/NZD $16/lead
So - I'm going with Neverblue Bingo aimed at CA & Maxbounty Bingo aimed at AU
-----------------
Really confused with how I'm supposed to track my subid's in FB - I uploaded a "custom script" from CPA Superstars which is a program from Kennster on the Warrior Forum - which then led me here
Anywho - can someone point me to how I track subids via FB? I just don't get it.
------------------
Started my Neverblue Bingo CA campaign aimed at Women 33-43 who were having a bday in the next week - that's the angle -
7 ads/ 4 pics - TERRIBLE CTR's
All went over 1,000 reach/
Best ctr was 4,242 reach/ .039 ctr - YUCK!!
Paused all ads - going in new direction
----------------
Decided to change angle - hitting up the Aussie ladies who like Bingo
Ages 44-65
This ad targets 148,560 users:
who live in Australia
age 44 and older
who are female
who like #Gambling, #Slot machine or bingo
5 ads/ 3 pics
So - the only ad that has a ctr of .1+ is the one that FB suggested! lol!
Apparently, my image ideas suck!
All ads over 1,000 reach, pausing the one that hit 5897 reach with .039 CTR.
Letting the others run a little longer to get a higher reach.
no conversions, in fact Maxbounty doesn't show any clicks yet. Maybe no one is doing anything once they hit the landing page?
I'm direct linking right now.
---------------
Tomorrow - will look for more pics like the one FB suggested & follow their ad idea, I guess.
If Maxbounty shows no clicks, and FB does, something is fucked with your links, unless the discrepancy is really, really small
it seems odd to me too - I just switched one of my links out to the Neverblue campaign so I can see if those clicks show up. Appreciate the feedback.
I'm killing this one - the traffic is just not there, at least with the images I'm testing - I mean 8-10 clicks/day . . . On to other things!
Tried this offer in Canada. It was profitable with no optimization with traffic 46+ but got kicked of offer so all tests were useless. I suggest you to send really quality traffic which are gonna convert for advertiser.
edit:
Oh just saw you are killing this campaign..
Hey Whisky!
That's awesome you were able to make it profitable from the get-go! Maybe I'll revisit down the road, but I decided to hit POF & get some momentum
before going back after FB
Thanks though for in input!
Friendly heads up on promoting Gambling offers on FB.
This is an email I got from FB couple of weeks ago:

Interesting! I appreciate the insight.
Which county were you targeting? I thought bingo was allowed in au.
I was pushing a whole bunch of gambling offers (bingo, slots, scratch cards, poker, casino games) targeting UK, DE, ES, PT, SWE, IT, NL, so I don't know exactly which ad pulled the trigger.
