Conversion Tracking with multiple pixels/callbacks (6)
As far as tracking conversion pixels/callbacks goes, does anyone have a solution for when you can only put 1 pixel/callback on your network, but have it reach multiple conversion points. Say im running ads on POF through EWA who only has 1 pixel. But im also using prosper202 for tracking. I can either set my pixel to prosper202 or POF. I either lose out on the great conversion tracking with POF, or the conversion tracking on prosper202. My current solution is to add the tracking for POF, and update the subid's manually.
I was thinking about making a php script to hit both conversion points. Any ideas?
You set a javascript pixel that all of your other pixels sit inside and will all fire on the conversion. You can use any affiliate tracking platform like linktrust or hasoffers for this. I had a master tracking pixel script by itself I had made a long time ago, probably have it somewhere but I'd say grab a hasoffers account for ease of implementation.
Prosper202 1.7 will now let you fire a 3rd party pixel based on the traffic source that generated the conversion.
How is version 1.7 coming along anyway?
