Is anyone making Airpush work?

Pretty straightforward question...

I keep hearing from new and experienced mobile marketers alike that Airpush is a good traffic source to get started with, but my personal experience over these last few months has shown otherwise. Proven campaigns in a number of different niches (mostly dating and mobile sweepstakes) that have done well on a number of different traffic sources have all bombed spectacularly on Airpush (average campaign is probably around a 50% loss at least). And yet, there must be some reason why it's popular...

Would anyone care to share some tips? What verticals are you promoting? Which countries? Any targeting & bidding advice?

this. biggest advantage with airpush is that they have a good amount of traffic in a lot of countries and their support is very responsive. keep testing testing testing..every traffic source works for somebody.

i need to charge my battery. guess i should get an app to improve battery lifetime..haha
