Which ASE (NYC) Ticket? & Group buy Discount thread 20% off

Which type of tickets are you guys getting for ASE?

I am currently trying to decide between the two:

1. Networking Pass: (currently $249)
Admission to Affiliate Meet Market and Exhibit Hall, and Keynotes.

2. Networking Plus Pass: (currently $549)
Admission to Meet Market, Exhibit Hall, Keynotes, Sunday educational sessions, access to all recorded session videos; PowerPoint presentations; and Affiliate Summit Social Network. This pass does not include Monday and Tuesday sessions.

The other two choices are listed here: http://www.regonline.com/Register/Ch...ventID=1044565

-Can anyone give any insight on what is actually worth purchasing?

- Has anyone been on the Affiliate Summit Social Network, is it worth upgrading to?

- Also, I am considering doing a group buy, if i can get 4 more people who want to do a group buy we can all save 20% which is $100+ depending on the ticket you choose. If enough people drop a line here and are interested then i will do one.

Depends on what you want to see really. I like networking mostly, rather then watching presentations. So i would only get the basic networking pass, but completely depends what your going for.

My fav part of these events are the smaller events that are put on by other people nearby, such as STM events, or traffic source/affiliate network meetups etc..

STM/F5 will be having a scarface styled meetup, always amazing style networking at these events!

I just get the networking pass.. I'm with stackman, I really just go for all the other events. Especially the parties.

Yeah that is kind of what i was figuring, but wasn't sure what kind of value would be in the presentations.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Yeah sorry, didn't really give you much input on your options. I can't really give much valuable info for the more expensive passes as i've never gotten them. I believe the networking plus just gives you access to the keynotes and all the video feeds. Not worth the extra $$ IMO.

I go for the absolute basic. The presentations are typically very low level. Your money is better spent taking clients/advertisers/reps out for a drink or a munch.

Just get the networking pass.
Here's a hint - if you want to get the most out of these conferences prep in advance.
What are your goals? Who do you want to network with? What meetings can you set up now that will lead to more and better business now and in 6 months and in a year? What relationships and face to face meetups will enhance your business? Conferences (for me anyway) are not about vacation or getting drunk - if I am going I am going to build my business, meet people in the industry and network. It helps that most of these conferences are 2-6000 miles away from home and require a serious investment just to get to the right continent - it makes me take these things more seriously.

If you're going to write off a vacation there are cheaper ways then going to a conference in mid town manhattan at the height of tourist season (how I hate times square, ugh).

^ Thats it mate

Networking pass is all I am going to get.

Looking forward to putting avatars to real faces, make sure you all get to the STM meetup or you will be in big trouble!

Are there any tickets still available? It says it's sold out?

I have a ticket available:
Networking Pass ($249)

Unfortunately, I can't make it to ASE this year, so I'm, selling my ticket.

You can't buy a ticket now since it's sold out, but it would cost at least $249 if you could still buy one. The first person to PM me and send $150 takes it...
