The Wild Wild West Follow Along Contest! *cough cough Macbook Pro Retina*
Creating a follow along is the absolute best thing you can do to help further your own campaigns! You follow your trials and tribulations throughout the whole campaign, you see what you did right, what you did wrong, and what you need to test further! When you do it publicly you get the eyeballs of hundreds more giving you tips, and asking questions which can spark ideas you would have never thought of.
I had 2 PMs from the previous mastermind contest, one of the guys hit a $1.5k/day campaign in mobile and he had NO previous mobile experience at all.
∞ Important Details
- Contest Starts: Sunday July 9th and ends Sunday July 23rd
- We named this the wild west because you can make a follow a long for any traffic source, and any vertical, it's completely up to you! Creativity explosion.
- Post your follow along in the respected traffic source section ONLY! (ie: if it's a mobile follow along, post it in the mobile traffic source, if there isn't a section post it in the "follow along campaigns" section of the forum
- Thread naming: <username> Wild West Follow Along Contest <more infos>
- You can have up to 2 follow alongs, but i suggest focusing hard on 1 for better results.
∞ What your follow along thread MUST have
- The goal of your campaign
- Your traffic source/offer
- Country/Bid Prices/Budget etc…
- Are you tracking? if so how?
- At least 1 ad (screenshot)
- The offer itself (screenshot)
- Spend/Revenue
- Show impressions, clicks, and CTR (the more the better)
- Overall we take into account your effort, how transparent you are, your creative/craftiness and your response to feedback given in the threads.
- **Make sure your images are full size, and easily visible!
∞ Bonus points for:
- Innovation & Creativity
- Campaign improvement throughout the 2 weeks
- Traffic source/rev screenshots
- Landing page screenshots
- Useful and informative image/screenshots
- Showing all the spicy goods! (multiple: landing pages, ads, CTR, screenshots of everything etc…)

Stack, you should make it a requirement to do what Ibanez did in his follow along, and have the 2nd post be reserved for updates... that really helped following his campaign.

One question I have though: You mention 2 campaigns. In how far are these rules applying to different angles and other possibilities ? Like for example you go for a female dating campaign but want to try 3 angles, let's say firemen dating, business owner dating and broke guys dating - would that count as 1 campaign according to the terms in the OP or 3 ?
I've played around with the Retina's at the mac store. Almost bought it, but i really don't need it (yet). ..it's REALLY nice though. Thin, light and the screen is sexy, you can tell how amazing the screen is the second you look at the icons in the doc, they're so crisp looking.

I would just focus on 1-2 concepts for the same offer! Otherwise it'll be messy and won't have good info

Using your example, i would recommend trying all those angles in the same dating follow along. So that would count as only 1 follow along. I recommend focusing bigtime on 1 and putting all your effort there.
- It'll not only create a more concise, organized and in-depth follow along
- ..but you'll also be a lot more likely to hit a profit by concentrating hard on 1 campaign 
How many winning spots are there stackman? On the main post you posted "The top 3 follow along's with the best information in an organized format will win" and then only posted two winning spot pictures. WE NEED TO KNOW!! lol

Great concept to increase the numbers of follow alongs, we are seeing interesting stuff already!
Won't be able to join due to travelling, next time! How about a monthly MacBook give-away for "follow along of the month"? ;-P
Does this have to be a completely new campaign or can I revive an old campaign that I was working on, but paused?
I haven't done a follow along with it before, and I have only been direct linking with a few ads. I haven't built any landing pages for it or anything so it's still in the early stages...
At the end of the day this follow along contest is for you to see your whole campaign and it's progress to help you see what you did right and wrong so you can end up with a profitable campaign! So realistically you can use an older concept of yours but only if you BUILD A LOT onto it. You cannot use a completely old campaign, because there's no value in that for yourself or others.
So all in all, I'd recommend starting a campaign from scratch, but if your going to build a lot on an older concept of yours that you genuinly think is a good campaign to revive then by all means go ahead
This contest is pouring so much value into the forums. It's beautiful and amazing and Is what makes this place awesome.

I was burgled on Friday morning between 1.30am-6.30am!
They took ALL my 5 computers (ALL MACS), 3 iMacs and 2 Mac book pro's. We should have gone live on that day.
I have just borrowed 2 computers and will be going live tomorrow (Monday 23rd) and want to ask for a few extra days?
