Key notes I got from it:

Must deposit min $1500 to get in, but can get refund if you decide not to spend all.

You can get cheaper prices for something the traffic you would buy on networks like Jumptap.

You can use human demand as a launching pad for bigger campaigns. HD allows full transparency so you can see which apps and which sites convert best for you (no encrypted pub ids). They will also introduce you those app owners and sites if you want to scale more.

This looks very interesting because I was getting fed up with JumpTap.
They told me that I have to spend $1000 a day to get a rep there.
I will get into test some campaigns as soon as you have $500 special entry page.

Hey Liane, excuses if my terminology is wrong here, but my understanding is the you can use HD to buy traffic thru a number of network exchanges (or traffic exchanges .. not sure what the right terminology is here).

Listening to the webinar it appears you have plans to increase the number of traffic sources. What I find confusing is that does'nt JT also use a number of network exchanges? Just wondering why you bringing on JT as a source, rather then bringing on JT's network exchange sources.

Yeah :-) Makes sense! But that's not our model - we prefer to work with the exchanges that have lots of pubs. We do some direct with the bigger pubs (like Mocospace for example). Actually JT will be brought on like Moco, with flat CPM pricing (not RTB).

On that note, if there are any pubs you'd like to see that work well for you...let me know. We can get them added as a direct publisher.

^^^ On JumpTap, they have a LOT of exclusive publishers which means they have inventory you can't really get elsewhere.

So with the flat CPM pricing model and not RTB, does that mean that the only guys bidding against each other are the HD users .. since HD is already paying a flat cpm rate. In theory, we could get cheaper JT traffic via HD.

Not that any of this info will increase my success chances .. i just find it fascinating

Great question! And I'll know how to answer that once we get JT integrated :-). Actually, I'll see if I can get a preliminary answer now...

Here's the low-down on JT once it's added to HD as a source:

Not sure if JT traffic would be cheaper - as it will be fixed CPM, and most people buy CPC on JT...

So basically - we'll have to wait & see when we try it out :-)

I want also join to HD , but i want to re check that i can get a refund for any money that still on the account if i want ?
Also i want to check if a CPC / RTB option will be available or the HD concept is only flat CPM bid platform?
And how much international traffic you have right now (Australia , France , Germany )?

1) Of course! It's your money.

2) No CPC. CPM only, and most exchanges are RTB right now, though one currently is flat CPM. More exchanges are being added for both RTB and flat CPM.

3) A bunch - check out this non-official campaign planner: www.lianecarmi.com/hd-campaign-planner (which doesn't include the flat CPM exchange, Mocospace).

Glad you like it Tijn! It's a huge improvement over the original docs for sure. Couldn't have done it without all the user input I received. There's an "infographic" version on MTD that's got all the current exchanges (including Mocospace) - just couldn't fit that last column on my blog :-). Also has all the details visible...

Hey guys, just a quick note to let all of you know that I'm heading to the hospital today.

Continue to send me your questions & requests for quick setup, but note that I will probably take just a bit longer to respond. Cool?

The way to make things faster for you is to include your:

-first name
-STM member name
-email you sign up with (usually your PayPal email)
and to send it right to my gmail (liane.carmi@gmail.com) rather than through a PM here.

That way, I can forward to the techs to get your accounts set up pronto even from bed on my iPhone :-)

Note that you automatically get your MTD account when you first fund, and that the techs simply place your HD login details right at the top of that account - but that's a manual process.
