Anyway to tell if your CPVlab redirect messed up?

So I just sent a large amount of traffic and used CPVlab to run a simple A/B split test.

I got a lot of clicks but not the normal conversion rate ...

Was wondering if there is anyway to tell whether you're redirect is failing ... or too slow ... or some other problem that would affect conversion (besides just clicking your tracking link).

FYI, it was probably a lot of clicks all at once, and the CPVlab is installed on a shared hosting server ... this was my first time using it so worried that that could of been the problem.

Thanks

Hi Caleb,

As long as your hosting meets CPV Lab requirements, it shouldn't loose any traffic.

Please note that those clicks could possibly be from bots. Also, we can test out the link for you but you would have to submit a help desk ticket.

Thanks,
Mo

You should use vps hosting. Shared hosting will majorly slow down the redirects and you will loose clicks and money. Click on the redirect yourself and if it takes awhile then its too slow. Either way go with vps hosting.

This is your problem.
You will see lost data, slow redirects and site not loading...

I'm assuming your landing pages are on this shared also or your direct linking?

What i do is run my traffic with bevomedia. rotate a/b landers with rotating offers, with out issues.
I just like to see everything in one platform.
So either track with bevo or get your self a VPS

To all who replied:

1. my own offer/main site/important stuff is on my dedicated cloud server, etc

2. I just installed CPVlab on an extra domain I had that was on some shared hosting I used to use ... this is my first real time using it.

3. So I'll put it on the dedicated server to make sure it never slows down, etc

Thanks guys!
