Some basic stuff about CPVLab for newbies (3)
Some small things that newbies might miss, when working with CPVLab (currently I'm using version 2.13).
Campaign stats page: Use the intervall 'All Time' (click refresh also) if that's what you want
Let's say you manually set a interval by clicking on the calendar, to check the stats for a specific, short time-span (a couple of days). The potential problem for future visits to this stats page is that that time-span may stay each time you revisit this campaign page. Atleast it did for me. You therefore think that you watching current stats, but you are actually watching stats for that period.
Simple solution: select 'All Time', and click Refresh.
Direct linking and LPs: Your LP URL should not have "www"
Heading is pretty self-explanatory. This is also descirbed in the CPVLab help-video for Direct linking and LPs (around 2:15).
What it means is that your LP URL should have no "www", just like there are no "www" anywhere in the links that CPVLab itself provides for you on this page (Direct linking & LP campaigns).
Generally I'd suggest everybody to click the INFO icon in CPVLab and check every video first before starting out. Makes you save a lot of time if you follow every advice there, so many little things that can be blown up when you use CPVLab for the first time!
Here's another tip about a problem that took me about an hour to figure out. Always make sure that there are no spaces just prior to the "http", in your URLs.
