We're about to have our next follow along contest, early this week!
Before i finish up the details, i need to know what you would rather have.
1. Mobile only follow-alongs (any niche, but must be mobile traffic)
2. Any traffic source/any vertical

The benefits of mobile only is we'll see more targeted campaigns around the same traffic source and overall get a better group learning focusing on 1 type of traffic. You can piece information together from multiple follow-alongs to get an overall better learning experience for mobile traffic.
The benefits of all traffic sources is anyone can enter (not only mobile advertisers). More creative and unique campaigns can be formed around offers you may not have known. Contestants can have the freedom to run anything their hearts desire which should spark a broader learning experience.

All traffic sources because it makes it harder for you to judge.
(I'm kidding about the judging part, but I like all traffic sources on the basis that the potential for surprise new and creative sources to be discovered and tested, as well as giving more options for creative methods of advertising. Basically I'm just repeating what you wrote in the original post, but not as elegantly.)
I would vote for mobile only .

I prefer Mobile only, because this forum has way too many follow long, case studies on different traffic sources. Even I haven't started my mobile journey yet, I've learned a ton in the last mobile contest you guys hosted.

seems like all traffic sources would be better...
I am not sure people realize or read thru alot of those case studies....some very good solid info......would be nice to do something similar with all traffic...
I know mobile seems to be where all the cool kids are these days...but I think people get too suck on one source sometimes just because its hot or they think that's where the most money is (or ever will be).....and never really stepping out of there element....and trying something they haven't before...
I think the contest should be
pick a traffic source you have never run before AND no 2 people can run the same traffic!! ....document your trials and tribulations....
but that's the creature in me thinking I guess...

oh it's already decided i see.....would've been nice to see all mobile follow along contestants join this one and see how far they've come in the space, while also having new contestants enter.
I think I might tackle mobile or adult for the first time for this. When does the contest start?
