Dating : Going direct but how to find offer?

Hey all,

I've been promoting a dating offer via an affiliate network and would like to go direct. Whats the best way to find out who own's the offer? I've done a search on google, looked at the offer page but nothing.

Why are you going direct. What are the advantages/disadvantages?

I haven't gone direct before but apparently better payout as the CPA networks take a cut.

This is true if you can push a lot of volume. Otherwise networks will be better because they're pushing so much volume, they'll have a much bigger pay bump and often times get a better rate than you can alone.

This, it is also worth noting that most merchants pay net60 or net30 and some may not even pay at all(ask any aff network owner). so it comes down to getting lets say a 10c payout increase and having to float capitol for up to net60 or not getting that 10c and getting paid weekly by the aff network. Its all a compromise, if you have the capitol to float net30 or net60 then go direct if not stick with aff networks

All valid points above.

Personally, if I know that I have quality traffic, I like to at least explore the potential of going direct.

While CPA networks do drive more volume to allow for big payouts, the quality of their overall traffic is only as good as their average affiliate. If your leads-to-sales ratio is in the top few percent, you can use that data to your advantage by going direct. When the merchant sees that your traffic is better than most, the payout bumps and faster wires will come your way.

It all comes down to your value in the food chain, right? If you do the same job as every other affiliate, you'll get treated like every other affiliate. And by that, I mean you'll have an eternal fist up your arse.

If you show your value by driving quality traffic and perfecting an awesome conversion funnel, they'll reward you for it.

I don't recommending pursuing a direct relationship unless you're confident in your traffic, and you know that you're targeting the most valued demographics. If you're phoning in the traffic like most affiliates, stick with your CPA network and take the extra security.

Thanks Finch. How would you go about finding out who own's the offer?

Be careful when going direct, there's lots of issues that could arise.
