Bad idea to contact them so they can help resolve this issue as quickly as possible?

depends...does it have REAL (fake names) or did you mix match paypals and names on the account and a cc with a dif name in your paypal?

new PayPal that lines up with the same email used on the account.
abbreviated name (eg K. Smith) as the name on the account - lines up with information in PayPal except for the full first name.

didn't go through a proxy so they probably have my IP address.

It would be Kevin Smith - the full name.

One thing I've noticed is that you should make your account look as real as possible. On one of my real accounts I submitted a card, but then the ad manager account got banned, and I contacted them and they gave me the ad interference back again.

well I have had this happen too with FB and paypal.....its to the point now that paypal makes me nervous....and I prefer to use a cc instead.....

But I will say this.....i would contact them.....I did once and I actually got my account back.....and yes there was some slim shady going on, in my ads ....but from what I could understand....it was more of a account security thing....I just emailed them back the info they requested and it was all set.....

Hi,

Facebook has received your inquiry. Please reply to this email from the email address that you use to log in to the account that you're trying to recover. This security step must be completed before Facebook can respond to your inquiry.

Also, please answer the following questions to help us route your inquiry to the team that can best help you:

- Are you the true owner of the payment method added to your Facebook account? If not, why?

- Are you a professional advertiser? If so, which client or marketing agency do you represent?

- Have you initiated a dispute on charges from Facebook with your bank, credit card company or PayPal?

Thanks,

- Facebook Risk Management
Just got this email back.

Don't really know how to answer the first two questions. Obviously #3 is easy.

I am the owner of the paypal account yes - but not the owner of the credit card submitted on the PayPal (it's a family members). And regarding #2 ... ???

Well the #2 ...... were you using software/api for uploading stuff?

I think that is why they are asking that question....

But what it does look like....is that they don't believe you are kevin....so you can either try to be kevin.....

or forget the whole affair and get a new account....

I was just manually submitting the ads.

If I get a new account under Kevin and add his CC directly it's just going to come back anyway... so I might just take the shot.

#1 - Yes.
#2 - ???
#3 - No.

#4 Profit.

So I'm banned.

In keeping of my recent spirit of asking a million questions:

In the hypothetical... if I wanted to open another account... with a direct credit card payment... is it bad to use initials, or would I have to use my full name?
