Strange Facebook Approvals?
Hi guys,
I'm really starting to wonder if Facebook don't want me to run ads anymore? Over the last 2 days I have had my new camps disapproved for a variation of reasons.
The LP & ad/ad text relate 100%, I've never struggled before & I currently run 30 camps to it. I've tried a variation of different ads and I'm getting a new style of rejection email each time. The page has no email submit or data input forms it's just a basic wordpress article and the top is 100% legit not to mention the ad I'm using.
Sample a.
Email Subject:
The creative of the ad violates our Ad Guidelines. Please make sure that the product being advertised relates to the product or service on the landing page.
Before resubmitting your ad, please visit our Help Center at the link below:
Sample b.
Reason(s):
Email Subject:
The content of your ad violates our Ad Guidelines. Wherever user data is requested (such as email address), your site should answer the following questions:
1. Who will have access to this information?
2. How will the user be contacted?
3. How often will the user be contacted?
4. Will the user be contacted in multiple ways (such as by telephone AND email?)
5. Will this information be sold to third parties?
Additionally, we recommend providing visible links to your site’s privacy policies, if available.
Additionally, please ensure that the product being advertised relates to the product or service on the landing page.

I've tried changing the image, text, recreating the camp yet no luck!
Anyone else getting this?

They disapproved all my ads that are giving me x,xxx days today. Yes, ALL of the ads, that are less risqué.
Totally have no idea what is behind it but I guess they are doing something on the ads compliance side.
I will take a break from Facebook and return when things are more stable.

So far I haven't had any issues. Were these all retro'd? This is why FB makes me so nervous. Wayyy too many of my profitable campaigns are on FB. I really need to keep working on some stable non FB stuff.
Edit* - Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself

Why get nervous? What's the point? Nothing lasts forever in AM. And whilst there may be a more stable traffic source out there, it will come with its own pros and cons. POF is more stable and affiliate friendly, but you have to launch 10 zillion campaigns to get any volume on there.
Face it, there's no totally perfect traffic source. Things always change. The best affiliates keep moving and changing with the times, because things in online move so quickly.
Not hating, just my 2 cents.

I know nothing lasts forever, especially in AM. I've been working on diversifying and learning other traffic sources because I've been hit by the FB ban hammer before. It sucks when your profitable campaigns come to a grinding halt. I've learned the hard way not to have all your eggs in one basket.

Yeah, definitely more friendly and stable but I agree about the volume.

I never suggested that there was some 'perfect' traffic source, we all know there isn't. But you're right, this is a fast paced game and things can change fast. The best affiliates are the ones that stay ahead of the curve.

This is stupid, I used to be approved without fail every time & I'm still struggling on. 12-24 hours per approval and then I get dissaproved with a reason that doesn't relate to my page what so ever. I've tried new ad text, URL and image in a brand new camp & I still get the same shit - Approved then disapproved 1-2 minutes later or the reason...

Yeah, there's something going on with FB right now and it's not good...
I've been having so many ads disapproved it's not even funny.

I had this image disapproved. I asked my rep why. He said this:
Users are highly sensitive especially towards dating ads. The image you have attached seems like the model is nude. We've received a lot of negative feedback around such images and do not allow them to be used in Facebook ads. I understand that this might seem okay but when a user 'x's out an ad, the bid that the advertiser is going to pay goes up which is harmful for the advertiser as well. Taking all this into consideration we decided to not allow such boderline images to give a good experience to the advertisers and users. Hope this made sense. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Madness, considering the model is quite obviously not nude! Either my account has been flagged or dating on FB is going down.

Was this for same-sex dating? He's definitely not nude but he certainly looks like he's sat on something & going bog-eyed from the experience!

Hahaha! That's true. He looks pretty happy with himself.
It wasn't same sex. It was single parent dating.

I'm linking to a wordpress page, comments are disabled & the only widget in the sidebar is search bar & a facebook/tweet/RSS social button - Any ideas?
