CPA Networks Okay With This?

hey guys,

Are CPA networks generally okay with
POF and PPV traffic?

Or do I need to check per offer with my
AM?

I'm in 4 networks right now, awaiting
approvals from several others, but the
AMs are taking their sweet time about
letting me know what I can run.

I hate waiting. I want to blow through
this learning phase ASAP, and start
stacking the monies.

Thanks in advance for any help, tea,
and cookies sent this way.

Check the offer rules with your AM.

To expedite the approval process, call your AM or add them on IM and bug them, bug them, bug them. Some of the time they have to wait on the advertiser, which can be time consuming. But if you bug your AM, then they can bug the advertiser and get you on it ASAP.

Thanks Richard!

In the bugging process as we speak.

POF and PPV traffic should be fine with most of the offers. If you want to be 100% sure reach out to your AM ;-)

I would say 99.9% of offers are fine with POF. You could probably safely run whatever you please.

PPV you should for sure check for confirmation as some offers don't like this traffic for whatever reason.

On Neverblue, the *peoplemeet offers do not accept NEW POF publicers.

if your rep takes more than 2 hours to tell you whether or not you can run an offer on PPV or POF, i'd request another rep... or go to another network

Wow. You guys really are helpful.

I'm used to backstabbing and bitching like in
the warrior forum. This is awesome!

Thanks for all the advice!

@profitable - duly noted. I've had a couple
take a few days to get back, I'm assuming it's
because my accounts with them were largely
dormant.

Don't worry though, planning to start wielding
the bitchslap stick as soon as I'm driving solid
leads

Time spent waiting is one of the most annoying things in this industry, I'm afraid.

I feel your pain. I hate it too. But the networks are increasingly having to monitor new publishers since it only takes 1 bad apple to spoil an offer for everybody.

Even once you've got approval, you still need to wait to collect data on your campaigns.

Whoever can stay patient and rational through the most waiting generally wins!

I suggest having a couple of long-term projects on the side that you can work on while your campaigns are 'in transit'. It's one of the reasons I have a blog. You can end up feeling unproductive as hell if you waste several days on the setup of a campaign that bombs within 10 minutes. Make sure you're mixing it up with work where the results are more guaranteed.

Thanks for the reply Finch.

You kinda read my mind.

Just today I divided all my income producing
tasks into 3 projects. 2 will sometimes require
waiting (POF and PPV) and the third one is a
long haul (SEO'd affiliate sites).

So to combat the frustration I've been feeling
these past few days I'll work on the other stuff.

Onward.

It really depends on the offer, usually affiliate networks have Terms on each offer, so you should check. However, those are popular traffic sources so most offers will probably accept them.
