new facebook ads tool - get your feature requests in

Ive got a new tool under development that uses the facebook ads api for managing your facebook campaign creation & management.

Why?

Im fed up paying 2-5% of adspend every month.

So im interested in the most popular features any of you facebook affiliates would want?

Also - if your used to using the other api tools out there, what do you like? What dont you like?

If you have used the power editor, same question - what do you like / dont like and what features is it missing.

for me, the Power Editor with a advanced search and replace feature, IE replace this by this on all lines selected that contains this, would be perfect!

Option to select multiple cells and mass change the budget. Sick of running through 50 camps changing their budgets when I want them either to be set at 1 or 5k.

mass change the budget
You can already do this in the power editor

1) go to campaigns view

2) selectr the camps you want to change (using shift and cntrl click to select multiple)_

3) change the budget in the edit form at the bottom of the screen

CVR tracking at ad level (via pixel, iframe, or whatever) that can pull every piece of data from users who clicked the ad and can be integrated w/ p202/cpvlab/beaver.

Adding additional variables to track based on my input: (so i would create an ad and say it had an orange border, black and white image, with a middle eastern female with blue hair.. etc)
IE:
Colors - If using different color borders, hair colors, eye colors, lip colors, ability to track which borders correlate to higher cvrs & ctrs with corresponding demographic data.
Image type (black and white, sepia, etc) "" ""
Ethnicity/race - Seeing which ethnicity/race with above data
etc....

Weighted Ads performance based on user input :
Spit out Ads in order based on criteria i choose to enter - (CVR from above feature, CTR, Total camp imps, total camp clicks, target demo size, above data)

Me likey indepth shit.

Would it be hard to implement... probably..
but a mrgodlike can dream.....

please take a look at "adsage for performance" on adsage.com/afp. i like its bulk creation & editing features. copy campaigns/ads so easy. i using the "standard" version, there no conversion tracking and ad permutation. the "Ultimate" version looks cool but cost much.

how much would you charge for your tool?

I separate all my ads into individual campaigns and duplicate them 5 times. So, making that easier to do and then manage would be awesome.

Also, I'd like a dayparting feature that doesn't just pause/unpause. I like to use the campaign end date to squeeze out more volume during profitable hours. Automating this would be a huge plus for me. As an example, if I wanted a campaign to run from 9 am - 5 pm I would set the end date for 5 pm and then at 4:55 I would go switch the end date to tomorrow at 5 pm and pause the campaign till I start it back up at 9 am tomorrow. This gets to be a pain in the ass when your dealing with 50+ campaigns in different time zones.

This would be my number 1 feature request.

I can do something that will be free to STM members.

I could be convinced to make the full tool free for STM members...but that depends on the deal you place on the table Lorenzo

for info - i have paused this project cause the guy that did the original spider facebook ad uploader figured out the method I was going to use for this and got his one done sooner.

it looks pretty good.

Yeah was just thinking about that and how yours would be different :-) Anyways, glad you give him a chance...his previous tool rocked my socks

Yep!

And seeing that he has figured out to use the power editor, im sure it wont be long before he realizes that he now has access to the full FB Ads API

No doubt it wont be long before he introduces some of the more advanced features we were planning!

Has anyone used this tool yet? Noticed it's cheap!
