Hello Everybody!
I've just been here and studied PPV for a week. I've burnt out my $100 on LeadImpact and get $25 in return lol
This was a result for last week.

I plan to focus on Freebies and Giveaways offers such as FREE Apple iPad, iPhone, and Macbook. My target audience is people who love NBA.
The followings are my landing pages. Both of them have sound "Congratulation, you are lucky winner. blah blah blah".

This is CTR and Conversion Rate result from my Prosper202. I've just put tracking code today.

My goal is to reach $100 a day in a month!
Is it possible? lol
Please give me suggestions
CTR is pretty low bro
Your landers are very visually appealing! Like they look rad as man, but that doesn't always = more money
Weird question, but what sort of hosting do you use?
For PPV minimum requirement would be a VPS man, it may be load time affecting your pops? Did you save these images in the most reduced size available which still keeps it visually appealing?
Welcome maynzie to my threadddd!
I've used VPS at ServInt and I also save my images as small size as possible.
I don't understand why my CTR is too low. I think it might cause from my keywords.
These are some of my keywords.

Am I on the right track?
Try to get rid of the "Congratulation.." sound and replace it with something that reminds the visitors to the game they love. It's worth a split-test!
Good idea! Thanks bstrd
I will add it to my landing page tonight and test it tomorrow!
I've just put new sound related to NBA to my existing landing page and also created new landing page based on a guide from stackman
This is my new landing page.

I will test it at 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.
See you in the evening!
I tried similar LPs to your first LP and my CTRs were around 5-7%, but the campaign still had a negative ROI.
Your new LP looks good, but I'd probably change a couple things before running it:
- change "Miami Heat" to a player's name
- remove the Google ad
good luck with your test!
Listen to bstrd, his the king of this shit
Yeah dude, I think your keywords are wayyy too broad. What I meant was target the teams websites man, like sites to do with the heat, okc, the players on the teams, youtube videos of the highlights etc
Your urls are too broad
instead of targeting nba.com target nba.com/heat or whatever it is
thats for you to figure out haha!
Don't forget to split test the new NBA related sound with your old lander. Maybe it can help to boost up your CTR. Or not. Split-test everything dude, really. A little change can make wonders with your CTR!
I remember earlier i changed a color (call to action button) on one of my landers, and CTR was climbed up from 10%+ to 20%+. Don't try to understand it, just split-test your landers and move forward with the winner!
@mwhiz - Can I remove ads? I embedded YouTube video there and make it autoplay.
@maynzie - Yeah, I think so. I will scrape it and resubmit again.
@bstrd - Thanks man! I will add it as my 4th lander.
Thank you everybody!
Dude, forget the youtube video. I'm sure it "steals" tons of clicks from you. You don't want to loose clicks and send your paid traffic to Youtube for free, right? If you stick to that look, just take a screenshot from the video and use that. For the sound, you can embed the video, but change the width and height to a minimal value and hide it to the bottom of your lp. This way you can still use the sound with an autoplay function, but your visitors not gonna click to the stupid video and start surfing around on youtube. Also, don't forget youtube is full with stupid advertisements..
Yeah, I've thought about that and come up with this new landing page.

I copy it into three landing page.
1st lander > No sound
2nd lander > Congratulation sound
3rd lander > NBA sound
But I've not got much traffic today. I think my keywords might be too long.
These are some of my keywords.

I scrape everything (URL, Keyword, YouTube) about Miami Heat and LeBron James.
My keywords are in Sweepstakes/Giveaways category.
Anything wrong?
Thanks man!
Maybe you can offer them something NBA related. Like a jersey. Or a jersey and an iPad if you want to stick to the ipad angle. Offer wall?
Try to scrape more targets, you need to get more traffic to your landers to get some useful data. Think about where the fans are hanging. Related forums, webshops (this one is great if you offer something related, because the visitor is already in the buyer mindset and you offer them a jersey for free..) sites where they can buy tickets for the next HEAT game etc. I'm sure you can find some decent targets if you look around.
But don't change anything too fast. I know the feeling when you try to do everything around one day.
First:
Get some traffic -> data and build up from there!
Once you find some good targets, it's way easier to find related sites through google adplanner, alexa, quantcast etc. Just be patient and gather data. It will cost you some money but hey, success is not free. You need to earn it! :-)
Good luck!
Actually, I want to promote NBA Jersey offer but the size of offer landing page is not fit to the size of landing page that LI allows.
Many of them are very big and opt-in is at the right hand or bottom side. ;(
Thank you for your suggestion again
I found iphones and ipads converted better when jerseys
Maybe try all 3 in a split test brother!
Yeah! I wil but I think I will focus on CTR first lol
Quick Report! Today, I get almost 10% CTR but no conversion lol

The lander with no sound is the winner followed by the lander with Congratulation sound and the lander with intro NBA sound.
I setup and rotate offers now to get more conversion!
Just finish setting up new landers. They are the same as the previous three but I change links to open in new window.
I also add 5 offers to these 3 new landers.
This is the report for the end of today

CTR of 3 old landers are quite equal but I got 1 conversion from the first one. (the lander with no sound)
Ahhh I also remove some keywords that have many clicks but not clicked through.
better ctr better ctr!
looking a lil better matey, keep pushing!
Yeah, tomorrow I plan to scale my campaign horizontally.
Just finish reading the celebrity gossip news and get new idea.
thats mah boy, boom!
Recently, I've just got 2 conversions ($2.80) from spending $1.
But it seems like there is something wrong with my Advance Landing Page tracking code.
It doesn't show where these 2 leads come from? ;(
I already check it again and I think I put the right code in the right place
Anyway, at least I know that opening offer in new tab can increase conversion rate!
At the end of the day ,,,,,,

I got $2.80 after spending $10.
Summary:
Spend: $142.35
Earn: $31.20
LOSS: $111.15
I won't give up!
Go Go Go
Are you optimizing in any way?
testing landers, targets, rotate more offers..
I Know when using bevo tracking platform it has a cpa optimizer. And going to bevo labs it tells me what works,
best day of the week, hour of day, lander, offer, traffic source, my average EPC.
Then gives you can do to improve your performance in your horizontally & verticals niches.
Hello snarry,
I currently use Prosper202 as my CPA tracking.
However, it seems like I have some problems with it.
Under the title try throw in an image of a facebook like box ---> http://developers.facebook.com/docs/.../plugins/like/
I suggest you copy the iframe script into your LP, take a screenshot and then add it as a photo for quicker load times. Try roll with the standard style, no send button & let me know if it pushed your CTR up
Good idea river!
I'll try it tomorrow. I just finish setting my new landers!
I've already started my new campaign based on new celebrities!
This is my new lander.

I create 4 different landers based on this one. I slightly change the name of Edward and Bella to Rob and Kristen respectively in order to know real name or movie's name is the winner.
I also scrape all keywords and url related to Edward and Robert Pattinson.
Hope it run well
My keywords have just been approved so there is no CTR or conversion update for today.
Anyway, I've just added new landing page to my campaign.

I've put current score to persuade visitors feel they have to vote otherwise their idol will be lost lol
Let see the result tomorrow
Your shaded area is getting the most attention because that's what stands out and where your eyes go first. I honestly skipped the whole CareerBuilder part altogether.
You need to intensify your bullets. Make it seem like a dire need that they check their credit before getting a job. Make it more self-interest related.
Sample Headline to split test (if you so choose): Don't make the mistake of applying to one more job without knowing your credit score! or Why you must know your credit score to land that perfect job!
Adjust your bullets to include you, your, etc.
Also, in its current form your lander violates FTC terms. The lander cannot state credit report at all. Especially, with the word free. Change all of those to read credit score.
Thank you jimcrim!
I've just adopt my bullets as you suggested!

I realize that I bid on domain that people are 'SEARCHING' for a job, so I put sentences to motivate them to CHECK their credit score before "SEARCHING" a job.
Let see the result then
Since I have placed this landing page for a test for 3 days, here is the results.
Spend: $42.35
Revenue: $0.00
Total: (-$42.45)
I sent 13 clicks from 1707 to offers (0.76% CTR) but still got no conversion at all.
I'm going to weed non click-through keywords out and add more landers there.
This is last 7 days report from PeerFly.

I need some conversion!
your lp CTR is so LOW , 17 clicks is not enough at all
i ran credit report campaign my lp CTR was 15 - 20 % although it wasn't profitable but that's because i never optimize or anything i just paused it
add me on skype : andrawisnaser
or PM me and i can give you my lp to test it
don't go with job hunters, go with banks, insurances basically everything where people are already looking for financial services, maybe real estate, people looking to rent a house/appartment... ;o)
And PS: With your email submits, don't target niches on ppv, I never found this stable... try to build your landers so that they appeal to a broad audience, you don't have to say something about sports teams or players when targeting sports sites...
@andrawisnaser Just add you on skype
@szmudo Thank you for your suggestion dude. I'm looking for new angles as you suggested and I plan to change design to suit to that based on my current lander.
Will be back with the results soon!
