Tracking on Offermobi

Well, i'm kinda stuck. How do I setup tracking on Offermobi where it'll tell me:

1) Campaign
2) Handset
3) Carrier
4) Which banner was clicked (is this possible?)
5) Which click converted?

I can have 5 subid fields max, according to Jumptap.

I have 8 banners ready to go and I want to test Feature, iOS and Android.

And should I use 2 banners per campaign? Or 1 banner per campaign? (300x50 and 216x36)

I've never run anything on Offermobi, and they may have a platform set up to track some of those variables, but generally you add a "tracking parameter" or "macro" in your subids in order to track those. These will vary from traffic source to traffic source.

With jumptap, the one's you listed would be:

1) JT_CAMPAIGN
2) JT_HANDSET
3) JT_OPERATOR
4) JT_ADBUNDLE

As for which click converted, you will be able to look at your stats and group them by subid, so you will be able to see which clicks went where, and what converted + CVR, EPC etc.

When running on Jumptap, or anything similar (display network) you will also need to track JT_SITE because your clicks will come from their network of thousands of different sites, and some will convert better than others. You can block non converting sites by talking to your account rep. You may also want to track JT_KEYWORD which will tell you what category of site your click came from (eg. news and weather, social networking, shopping, etc.)

In the end it will looks something like

Code:
www.afflink.com/asdasd&subid1=JT_SITE&subid2=JT_HANDSET&subid3=etc...
When the link is clicked, the tracking parameters will automatically be replaced by the corresponding information. JT_HANDSET will be replaced by HTC EVO 4G or whatever phone clicked the link.

As for the different ad sizes, I personally like to separate my campaigns by as many variables as possible for my own reasons, but I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to go. As long as you can track the difference in CTR and EPC between the ad sizes, then just do whatever you feel is easier.

Go kill it

So I would be able to track where the conversion came through via Jumptap's system? Or would I have to get something like Prosper202?

Btw, great post. Thanks a lot!

The affiliate network (offermobi) will show you which clicks converted. You can see where those clicks came from by adding those tracking parameters (JT_CAMPAIGN etc.)

Load speeds are especially vital in mobile offers, and using 3rd party tracking software like Prosper or CPVLab will slow you down quite a bit. Definitely not recommended.

Ok, it was suggested to me to not use Prosper202 because of click discrepancies and other reasons (I guess load speed is factored into this, as well).

Currently, my code reads: http://tm.trackmobi.com/aff_c?offer_...DLE&c5=JT_SITE

In testing, I only used c1,c2,c3... I've now added c4,c5. Can I use the exact same URL for Offermobi? This is their macro list... my biggest thing is that the coding uses a different variation?

http://support.hasoffers.com/entries...cking-settings .... if you scroll down you will see "Global Click Macro"

EDIT: would this be my new code for tracking... http://tm.trackmobi.com/aff_c?offer_...source=jumptap ... is this correct? or is there something that is unnecessary??

Holy, I feel like high maintenance lol. I'm just eager to learn.

Thanks in advance!

I'm a bevo user and find it fast loading, redirects, rotator,
it would do all five of what you need.

I was able to track a lot of variables that should help out for the #4 you need.
