My First Campaign on Mobile
Hey All,
So I have gone ahead and setup a campaign on Jumptap for the Meetmoi offers.
I am testing Feature Phones, iOS (+ipod touch) and ALL Android Devices
Also, using Jumptaps macros: Campaign, Handset, Operator
Testing $25.00 each ($75.00 total)
Bid: Average .11 - .13
I have used the creatives that were provided, however I did use one from paint that is 300x250 (for iOS)
This is my first time so if there are any suggestions..please tell me. I will attach a photo later with how everything went

the offer's been around for a while so i'd suggest using your own creatives. i've seen interstitial pages on this offer work well, but it's a pretty clean offer as far as dating goes. don't go too aggressive with your creatives and don't use adult traffic (advertiser will charge back leads if they find out). you'll probably want to check in with your network to find out if custom creatives need to be approved or not. once you've optimized, split test the CPS and CPL offers - the CPS ones often work better. the advertiser has also been doing some maintenance lately and it's been sporadically offline. super legit advertiser, but check in to see if you can get some info on when to expect them to go down before the fact. they're doing maintenance monday morning with us, i'd imagine that'll be across all networks.

Hi Cole,
What exactly does CPS and CPL stand for? Also, I just received notification from Neverblue as been 'declined'. What steps should I take to become approved? I emailed Marty Borotsik earlier today (before the notification email), asking who my main contact person would be, however his automated-response email informed me that he will be away until later this month.
Cheers!

cpl - cost per lead
cps - cost per sale
I've tested a few mobile offers but its a game change compare to what im used to.
I'm testing/tracking with bevo, I can drill down from the OS to the carrier users are using.
Also you can go through the offers.bevomedia.com and find a better paying offer.
Applying to the network using bevo I get approved within 48hours. Then able to run the offer and start testing campaigns.

Track site ids. There is a JT macro for it. JT_SITE.
Also, couldn't see from the data you'd posted, which carriers the conversions had come from.
Really though, site id is the thing you need to be tracking. Then run some more traffic and come back with the stats.

Nick,
I will add that as my c4, but in regards to which carrier the conversion came from... I have no idea how to track that (and I realized this yesterday).
Also, I'm not sure how to track in Offermobi (no idea how to incorporate the macros) for the MeetMoi offer. The only thing Offermobi tells me is that there has been a conversion and provides the IP only. I also see that there is subid fields 1-5 that are blank, someone mentioned that you can only have 1 subid field for Offermobi? If so, how can I track where the conversion came from/which device?
I'm ready to launch some new campaigns, I learned how to use Photoshop last night so I stayed up until about 1:30am making 10 banners which look WAYYY better!!! Borders that flash 3 times and some sexy girls and very clear call-to-actions. That being said, should I launch each campaign with 1 banner? or 2? If I launch 2 banners, is there any way to find out which banner was clicked on? The sizes are 300x50 and 216x36.
Holy, I've got tons of questions. I guess I have every intent on making this successful...my mom became 'ill' so times have changed....I will do whatever it takes.

OK so let me guess. Your going from Jumptap > t202 > Offer Mobi Offer
Shouldn't it just be a case of recording the handsets e.t.c using the C fields in 202 and then placing a pixel at the offermobi end? the pixel fires and records your conversions in 202. On top of this you can place a pixel at the jumptap end as well and track that way as well which should allow you to track which creatives are working for you.

I'm not using Prosper202, it was suggested to me as being "unnecessary" so I have post-poned it.... I'm giong from Jumptap > Offermobi 'meetmoi' offer. Also, the entire "pixel" concept is very new to me and I find it confusing. As I said, I am completely new to affiliate marketing, especially mobile.
This is what my destination URL reads:
http://tm.trackmobi.com/aff_c?offer_...DLE&c5=JT_SITE
I have added "JT_BUNDLE" and "JT_SITE" earlier today, haven't launched anything yet. I just want to make sure I'm doing it right and not missing any steps.
Cheers
