Hi guys, this is my first post besides introducing myself. Just a thought that I would like to throw out there for an angle for advertising the dating vertical. I don't know who all keeps ups with the latest social culture what women are talking about right now (I'm guessing quite a bit of you). I do not have the knowledge to advertise on FB yet as this is my first week trying to jump into online advertising. Tell me what you guys think and keep me posted if you decide to give it a try. Here goes the idea:
Vertical: Dating offer targeting women
Target: Women of ages from 20-40
Angle: Target women reading bestseller 50 Shades of Grey
Method: Picture- Attractive looking male with attributes close to the Christian Grey character; Title- Find your Christian Grey; Message- something that plays on the girls emotions of this erotic bestseller but safe enough to put on facebook
Anyone that has heard about this book knows women have been talking about the hype of reading this book and how it makes them feel and how horny they get from just reading this book.
Anyways, any feedback on this would be great. Would this possibly be a good idea. I'd like to hear from some of the pros to at least know I'm headed in the right direction with my thoughts. I cannot personally try this out due to the lack of knowledge I have at the moment but any feedback would be great.
