30 PPV Campaigns in 30 Days

This is bascially everything I've done in the last month and a half since I've discovered aff marketing.

Herein lies my landers, targets, CTRs and ROIs. I want to share because I want to help and I also need help. My stuff might get ripped, I don't care I've got nothing to lose...but if you get something to work using something here, a quick PM and I would be grateful.

I've learned a lot in the last 6 weeks ie HTML, scripts, FTP, WYSIWYG, hosting, etc. I didn't even know half this shit existed 2 months ago. None of this learning would have been possible without this forum. I've read ca$hvertising, am halfway through Tested Advertising Methods, tons of threads and follow the blogs of the moderators in this forum.

I haven't had anything sustain profitability beyond a few hours, very close once. I've been up and down emotionally but nevertheless I'm still here, I want this. Bad.

So help me. My skype is bna858.

Did I mention I want this.

All were run on LeadImpact PPV (sticking with one traffic source). There are a few variations on each lander I didn't post such as adding scripts or changing headlines/copy/buttons etc. The ones shown here are either the last one I tried or the best performing one.

First Campaign. Its a hodgepodge of icons and graphics, makes me wanna lol.

-100% ROI 5.6% CTR on 125 Views with 0 Conversions

Noteable Targets:
bodybuilding.co
p90x
muscle*building
beachbody.com
menshealth.com

One of a few Life Insurance Landers I tried. $4 zip submit

-100% ROI 2% CTR on 430 Views with 0 Conversions

Notable Targets:
medicare
medicare*supplement
aarphealthcare.com

Here is where I started experimenting with angles. Got me a conversion. Same $4 zip submit as above.

-56% ROI 3.5% CTR on 240 Views with 1 Conversions

Notable Targets:
thescooterstore.com
electric*scooter
spinlife.co
thescooterstore.co
the*scooter
electric*scooters
hoveround.co
wheelchairs.com
1800wheelchair.co
pridemobility.co
hoverround.com

Also tried this one, was kindof going for an "advertorial" targeted more informational medicare sites.

-100% ROI 2.6% CTR on 270 Views with 0 Conversions

Target:
medicare (keyword)
Federal medicare sites

I tried a handful of landers with this doritos offer. I didn't separate the data with each lander but kept track while running them to see improvements. CTR was 9% across all landers but the one below performed almost twice as well.

Notable Targets:
games.com
mmorpg
pogo.com
addictinggames.com
kongregate.com
dailymotion.com
king.com
miniclip.com
runescape.com

CTR much higher, got just a couple of conversions.

Same Targets as above.

Mothers day offer I rushed through before that weekend. No conversions.

This one is the best campaign I've run. After noting how I got more response from the doritos ads, I started thinking about who would be installing video playing software from LI. Younger folks. So I targeted this coolmath.com website which on quantcast is actually #43 of ALL websites. I ran through a ton of variations on this lander. This is where I learned how to do javascripting for timers and callouts. I also experimented with writing a short quiz. Originally I used that same doritos offer (free samples) then a week later I tried again with an iPad offer. It was fully profitable after a couple thousand views but never a substantial margin. I realized I fell in love with my results and this offer/angle (heard a few people advising against this) and I let myself spend 20 times the offer amt but in the end I was only marginally -ROI. I had a math question but this geometry question added like 7% CTR. CTR was around 20% for quite awhile before I couldn't get more conversions. The feeling of seeing 10 conversions in an hour really got me excited.

Anyway, negative ROI.

Ok, from here on out Im just going to post the landers and what I was targeting. All of them were negative ROI. Few conversions here and there but nothing really worked.

This is probably the second best offer I've run. Almost profitable. This lander led to a Visa Gift Card offer that had beiber pictures incorporated into it. When I changed from a white chick holding the card to a black chick with no card, CTR increased.

Targeted FAFSA websites and financial aid offices for the 10 largest universities, just to see if they would work.

Targeted expectant mothers type sites. Life Insurance offer.

Same as above. I thought that thing she was holding was a coffee mug...then I realized it was a glass of wine after I already ran a bunch of traffic lol.

Angle on a best buy gift card offer.
Targeted everything elder scrolls.

Monster.com

I was surprised this one didn't work. I targeted some pages within papajohns, dominos and pizzahut when your ordering a pizza. Lead Impact denied a bunch of keywords that were Point Of Sale pages...and they considered many of the targets as such. The only one I really got away with was a dominos site I think.

Pretty weak landing page, threw it up for a split test on the offer.

Starbucks gift card offer...first attempt at this offer.

Starbucks offer. Targeted deviantart.com didn't work for shit. Same with below.

Didn't work. Used that image for a wow factor.

Couldn't get this one to work. Targeted 8 or so apartment search services like apartments.com etc.

So there it is, this is my follow along. I'm about to go through a big move from San Diego to Tampa Bay. I will update this as much as possible.

How can I improve?

campaigns like your scooter offer, you only run a couple 100 views then stop? shouldnt you be buying more data?
