Can't seem to make these two work together. The sites I want to run will not approve it
and others will get no traffic (the "sites" and "Creatives" were approved). I've tried small and big sites (buzzdock), had good CTR but nothing has converted but are proven winners on other platforms. First $500 gone..... next round is in.
Anyone else that has made this work and can offer pointers... that would be really awesome.
I've had a little success with co-reg on GT, but when I did the campaigns absolutely SLAYED. I'm talking 1500% ROIs (no joke, wish I could leak the campaigns) regardless, for me lately Site Scout has been hard to set up campaigns that perform well, with most ending in a loss. I'd recommend emailing webmasters of smaller niche sites and getting banner traffic through them (this seems to work out better in the long run for me) even if the volume is low always remember power in numbers! Hope I could be of some insight.

had good CTR but nothing has converted...
I have had the same experience. Some sites are just garbage/bots or whatever. Some of the gossip sites were terrible for me. There are sites that get good CTR and cheap clicks almost no matter what you put up. Zero Conversions.
Good Luck!
My only pointer would be to try using contextual targeting if your not already. Here is a link Steve sent me that kind of explains how it works, they are integrated with this > http://proximic.com
The way I have been testing this is setting RON and using the Contextual filter set to high and then dropping it down to Med, Low depending on traffic. Also setting budget low at first and to distribute through the day so as to not blow my wad too fast.
The other thing I have been tinkering with is making GIF banners with slow delays and then blinking 3 different banners for the same offer. Like 2 that are images and then 1 just text. Sort of like banner recycling. Seems to help so far.
