New PPV Mastermind!

Taking a lead from this thread: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...UMP-ON-now!%29 I'm starting up a new PPV mastermind group.

Given the huge interest in that post (myself included) we're gonna set it up the same way, with skype groups and a limit to 5-7 people in each group.

I'm fairly new to PPV, but I'm picking it up quick, so both newbies and more experienced PPV'ers are more then welcome.

Post your skype here and I'll add you in, or PM me if you'd rather not put your skype out in the open.

Also any advice on the organizational aspect of the mastermind is greatly appreciated. As mentioned in the original post, I'm looking to setup a long term thing which will benefit everyone involved, not something that is going to fall apart after a few months.

That sounds like fun. Can you share some more information about how it is going to work?

advice: (for what it's worth)

hardest thing is getting participation...

if people aren't gaining from the group, they will stop chatting in the room

on top of that... with the nature of the beast, a lot of people just want to "get in" and NEVER participate (kills any group)

best suggestion is to get a bunch of people who are at the same level... and keep it small

if people are testing and SHARING results, then the group can be kept strong

a mastermind cannot exist if people are not sharing about what they are doing... but sharing only comes when it's mutually beneficial

it's a hard balance to strike.

good luck.

Very sound advice harry!

loanOak - looks like your planning multiple groups?

i would start with one. Make that a success. Have a clear objective and plan and keep the group small as you are suggesting.

also be clear about the objective of the group - ie what you are aiming for.

Like if your setting up multiple masterminds - what is your goal? It must be more then just learning yourself

Have an end date too, and a certain testing budget everyone has to spend.

Agree, this will be a waste of time without some set rules

ok so hows about this everyone commits to a spend of $100. We all test 5 different verticals and track everything through a shared install of t202. That way everyone can see the progress of each campaign and we get a good insight into how each vertical performs on the platform. For the price of $100 we get 5 campaigns worth of data.

Lots of great suggestions here.

I think what we'll do is something similar to what darforces suggested.

We'll do a two week trial run, with a budget of $100. If it works out we can extend it in 2 week increments.

I don't think a shared install of prosper would be good, too many hands in the program at once, too much possibility of messing things up. I think a shared Google spreadsheet with daily stats would work better.

The size of the group is going to be a maximum of 7 people, 3 people have already sent me their Skype ids (I will get in touch shortly). We're going to start up with a discussion on what the group feels is the best way to go about it, and that discussion will take place this Wednesday. So if you are interested in this group send me your Skype and we'll get moving on it.

If you guys have any other suggestions or advice, I'm always open to hear it.

I'd like to join as well, I feel having some other guys around would help me push for creativity.

My budget will be a fair bit higher though. PM sent.

has anyone heard anything about this moving forward?

Keep it small, if lots of applicants heck make 2 or 3 separate groups

As G nailed this, time limit, budget allowance, make it rain make it hurricane!

Bring everything to the table, be honest with each other and grow 10 fold faster

I'm still waiting for a reply

I haven't heard anything back.

I don't have a lot of time during the day (I work 9-4, exercise until 6:30 3 days a week. All other time is PPV until about 10-12:30), but I'd be willing to host and organize the group. Feel free to send me a PM! Maximum 7 guys.

[Edit] If this works out well I'm also designing us a logo and getting some goddamn awesome jerseys screen printed for us.

PM'd you...I'll rock the shit out of that jersey!! haha
