FB CREDIT CARD ERROR ~ InValid County or Region

I got some accounts.

I believe when I logged into billing "UK" was preselected (perhaps it was made in uK, notsure)

After I fill out all of the billing information and hit submit it says

"PLEASE ENTER A VALID COUNTY OR REGION"

Is it not possible to use an American Card?

I know someone has these accounts working w/ US cards

Any help would be appreciated

What kind of card is it? I don't know if they have a country filter, but I had problems adding an NZ AMEX card to my FB account because of the stupid 4-digit card security code.

it was a "county" issue not a "country" issue

solved the problem: Paypal UK

Oh right, hmm weird? Maybe FBs list of accepted counties/regions for the UK differs from what you'd expect?

Maybe someone else can chime in here on the reason why, but I've heard more than once that you should NEVER use paypal to fund an fb account if you want to keep it.

Last I remember FB and PayPal are intimate in that PayPal will readily communicate account info to FB, i.e. if your PayPal details don't match your FB details they will find out. If you aren't running a legit account then yeah, apparently PayPal isn't the way to go.
