The only thought going through my head, will it be business as usual or will something happen that delays/stops payments or changes the inner workings of Neverblue?

I hovered over the link, saw prefromanceinsider.com and thought BULLSHIT. I wouldn't believe anything you read on that blog.

^^ READ THAT. I will never understand why affiliates risk all their cash with a network that is clearly having financial problems when there are financially stable networks out there with the same offers that are highly trusted and respected.

makes no sense.

I've been holding off on running anything with NB ever since the news first broke about VELO. This just seals the deal for me.

I like the people at Neverblue a lot and think they run a great business. I also liked the people at Epic a lot. But when payments stopped flowing smoothly we immediately stopped sending traffic. From what I know there was people owed tons of cash at the end of the day with Epic. We collected every dime. Not saying this is going to happen with NB at all I think they're solid, but what is a total unknown is if someone like HSBC or Barclays takes the, for the debt and can't find a reasonable buyer what will happen then?

One scary thing I've seen is when bean counters buy comapanies I'm this business and don't realize it's a relationship business much before its a numbers business. There's a company called (censored) that is a good company and makes a ton of money in education. BUT they got taken over by a bean counter who decided it was more important to make the bottom line bigger then it was to nurture relationships. Their internal buying team was making them 50% margins where the affiliate traffic was only making them 20% ( keep in mind is was all edu they owned ). They ran into some cash flow issues and just decided to stop paying affiliates cause there was more money in the other.

All I'm saying is
Be careful with unknowns.

P.S. I speak from me burying my head in the sand and losing over 3 million my first couple years in the network business. I always figured everything would be ok and the offer/margins were just to good to stop. I equated it to seeing a 20kt diamond in a fire, you see it right there and keep reaching to get it and keep getting burned. Sometimes you get it in your hand but you never get it out.

Here's Neverblue's statement:
" As one of our partners, we wanted to provide you with a brief update regarding the Chapter 11 process of our parent company, V2V Holdings LLC. As our parent company noted in its initial filings, its Board of Directors and senior lenders are considering a potential sale of Neverblue Email (formerly known as AKMG) and Neverblue. In the next few days you will receive a legal notification that outlines the bidding procedures for the sale of the Neverblue companies. As a result of this process, Neverblue will be sold to either the lenders (including General Electric Capital Corporation and Goldentree Asset Management) or a strategic or financial acquirer. I want to assure you that it will not impact Neverblue Email’s ability to meet your needs in any way. We believe that both our lenders and any potential acquirer would be highly committed to ensuring that the Neverblue companies can fulfill their potential and continue to offer the same great service clients have come to expect.

Our business is performing well and we continue to operate business as usual without interruption. We value our relationship with you and look forward to continuing to work with you for many years to come."

----

A very clear response from Neverblue CEO Hakan to Pace's line about Neverblue’s buyer taking on debts:

“The buyer of Neverblue will just take over all obligations to continue to pay our affiliates any amounts that we owe to them. The buyer will not take on any other debt.”

-
I am not aware of affiliates having payment issues.
The affiliates I manage are getting their payments on time.

If you are facing difficulties, you are welcome to ping me direct at andrew.wee@neverblue.com or via Skype or AIM (my username is andreww38 on both IM chats) and I'll direct you to someone who can help you.

I am in Singapore, which is in a GMT+8 timezone (about 12 hours ahead of EST), but I work pretty long hours, so if I get any emails or IMs when I'm awake, I'll take care of your concern ASAP.

Has anyone stopped running traffic to Neverblue or is everyone taking what they say at face value and not scared of what is going on? From what I gather, Neverblue itself is profitable and will be able to continue making payments on time, it is only their parent company who are selling their assets because of their debts, right?

I have offers with bumped payments that took me some time to get that I would hate to give up...

mscimitar; I feel you. I have a camp right now that is rocking and dont want to halt traffic.

It's okay guys, we'll be able to get you those payouts quickly .

That's right.
Payments are still going on schedule, whether at net7, net30.

As has been mentioned, it's Neverblue's parent company which is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Both Neverblue and Neverblue Email (formerly AKMG) are profitable, cashflow positive and it's business at normal.

If you're any questions which anyone on STM might want to have addressed, I can put you in touch with the network manager or someone else who can resolve any issues you might be facing.

You can get me on AIM, Skype at andreww38 or email: andrew.wee@neverblue.com. I'm online about 12-16 hours most days if I'm not in meetings.
