Moving to a new domain after the Google slap

Will my new site get penalized for being unoriginal content, if I will move my old site to a new domain?
My old site has comment spam links, and I cannot get rid of them.
I was thinking the only way to fix the situation would be to move to a new domain, and start over. Has anyone tried this?

i would rather start off fresh. using same content on other domain will only give you hard time. instead start a new site and do 301 redirect old to new.

301 redirect passes penalty from slapped domain to new, after a couple of weeks or so. You can confirm this from multiple sources. If it was that easy everyone would have got through the Google Penguin slap pretty easily.

You'd be better off just starting with new fresh content and a clean link profile.

If your site was slapped actually you should do a 301 redirect of your old site to a competitor that wasn't, and watch him fall.

Do you have a message in WMT saying unnatural links?
If not, PM me your URL and I'll check out your anchor diversity - main reason sites got slapped by penguin and pretty simple to reverse.
