If you run a FB ad campaign or a CPV/PPV (through Lead Impact), would it be enough to test/update once a day? I have a daytime job and I can only test/update/scale stuff each evening. I could look at the stats during the day, I guess, but no time to do any serious things.
I'm reading though the STM 40 Day Guide, and other related guides and threads on this forum. Nice stuff, but lots of thoughts, ideas, and questions pop up.
Hi again! The reason why I asked (see post above) is that I bumb into information about the importance of speed. In the STM 40 Day Guide, for example, it says "For PPV you will need decent hosting. I recommend you get at least a cloud based webserver that is optimized for fast load times". So, I was a bit worried that affiliate marketing with PPV/CPV meant that you had to be glued to the screen at all times, monitoring, adjusting, optimizing. Yes, I am a beginner - hence posting in "Newbie Q's & A's" ;-)
However, I have begun to get the overall picture now. It is not necessarily about my connection speed. Rather it is important for the user, the web surfer. The information/creative/ad should load fast for them. And that is why I need an account with a nice and fast host (for example Beyond Hosting, which is recommended in the guide)?
this is an old post sorry for bring it back, not sure if you figured this out,.
I always have two LP's competing to see which one has a better CTR and then also testing multiple offers.
You can try using bevo to Find the best landing page, with the best offer, on the best network, at the best time, in the best location with its CPA optimizer.
Hope to hear your results!
Hi Snarry, appreciate the reply. I have just finsihed my first ever week with PPV and it has been thrilling and fun! Thanks for sharing info about having multiple LPs and stuff - it helps validate my own ideas and my own testing. I have begun to see that it will be a minor problem, for me, to run PPV (with back-up from the knowledgeable members of this excellent forum) parallellt to my daytime job.
Will take a look at the bevo thing, thx for pointing me in that direction.
