newbie to FB Ads

i ve using FB Ads these couple week
i was tried 4-6 campaigns on it,lost $300+.
i m wondering why the converate is so low.
i tried split test,diff creative.
the CTR is not so bad,avg is 0.05%-0.1%.
but the converate lower than 5%.

all i test is short form CPA offer, like online game leadegen, daily deals.

so all i wanna figure out is:

1.you guys use extenal link or internal link?
ive seen lots of ads using internal link.

2.direct link or Landing page?
ive using direct link all the time, and the converate is so low.

3.FB Ads right now always doesnt send the impression to ads.is it same to u?

4.If i create lots of campaigns in facebook, the CPC price is higher than create it one by one.

sorry for my bad english, hope somebody here can help me.

My tactic:

Get 20 images that Facebook will approve for sure, also get about 10 images that will do good...

Submit 10 - 20 ads with the same text & targeting but different picture, All of those ads submit with the images that FB will approve for sure but within those ads submit several ads with good images. Your basically sneaking those images in and using the other images to cover up your good images.

Make sure you are cloaking or using a link which you can redirect to different offers.

FIRST focus on getting that high CTR and cheap cpc for your ad(s) Don't worry about losing money yet.

SECOND, after finding that high CTR ad(s) with low cpc, focus on finding that good converting offer. Test each offer to 50 clicks. If you get 50 clicks and 1 conversion then let it run to 100 clicks. If you get 100 clicks and still 1 or 2 conversions then switch out to a different offer unless your epc is higher than your cpc.

Keep rotating through different offers until you find a winner where you are profiting.

I normally look for a .30 epc or higher.. But I make acceptions if I am making at least 100% ROI

My standards are to have an epc double of my cpc or higher if possible.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!

trust93, are you using risque redirection offers such as adult dating or still just more casual dating?

I stick to casual dating.... As long as the offer does not contain any nudity then I will give it a test

You should not direct linking. Use a landing page instead and watch your conversion shoot up. Unless... It is a shitty offer that won't convert. 0.1ctr on competitive markets is consider very good ctr. So do the extra work and make the extra money.

Landing pages do often increase epc.... but I have great success direct linking as well
