Click Discrepancy

Hey All...

I know there will always be click discrepancies in AM. I see it a lot with PPV.
Being new to facebook can someone please tell me if this makes sense?

Day 1
252 Clicks from Facebook
235 Clicks in Prosper
157 Clicks in EWA

How could i lose over 30% going from Prosper to Network?

Day 2
404 Clicks from Facebook
395 Clicks in Prosper
310 Clicks in EWA

Just over a 20% loss this time from prosper to Network...

At first i thought maybe it was just a delay on the network side but i am on day 3 now and its pretty much the same everyday.

Thanks

you might be getting duplicate clicks and the network might only track unique clicks

This very well might be true as when i show Real clicks in prosper for day 2 i get 340. I guess i need to ask Ewa this question.

This isn't unusual at all. I often have 10-20% discrepancy between FB and the network. FB charges you for dupe clicks and whatever else and there's really nothing you can do about it.

FYI: You will also lose clicks with cloaking turned on.

Discrepancy in Fb has always been there. Aside from review team clicks and geo redirects by the network there is always a discrepancy of 10-20% sometimes more in intl markets.

It really depends on the demograph your hitting, I've had upto 20% click loss on some countries. One thing I would try is to run your site through gtmetrix.com & try get everything to a grade A.

Try a different network to see if you line up better.

ask your AM to check the dup IP stats, I'd be willing to bet 99% it's geo redirects / dup IPs and that 99% of your unique clicks tracked accurately, but ya asking the network you're working with is probably the best way to figure it out
