How to deal with AMs? And how much info you share with them?

Hello guys i have a question that is buzzing me from quite some time.
How much info about your campaigns do you share with your AMs? How do you know that they wont steal your campaigns lps etc. when you tell them where and how you run them. And what about if you catch your AM lyng to you.For example he "forgot" to pay bump your offer or made a "mistake".
What do you do when you feel like your AM is asking too much info from you?
It is easy for me to say NO but when i have some large sum of money in the aff network that havent been paid out to me yet, i am trying to be as polite as possible Maybe if i say No to them they could fuck me up and dont pay me...
I am hearing about how you guys had your campaigns shared to other affiliates by your AMs and other crazy sneaky shit...

So please share your experiances and how you deal with this

i would love to share info with them.

if and only if they reply quick enough. And if they have the heart to reply lol.

idk, but it sounds like everyone's got their AMs replying to them. Not me lol.

@lee - You can always request another AM, most networks allow that.

@kris - As much or as little as possible; it's a pretty open ended question. For example, at EWA if you want to get advice on your adcopies then obviously have you to show those to get the advice. In the same sentence, in most cases my AM's should not* be looking at landing pages in general - even if advice is requested (for legality reasons more than anything). I always suggest that people cloak landing page information just to protect their own selves, even though I fully trust my AM's I'd rather reduce the possibility of people blaming us.

@Ryan thanks for your answer. And what i should do if i am making lets say $10k per day and my am starts asking where my traffic is coming from or wants to see my lp.Or tells me that i wont get paid if i dont show him my lp and traffic sources..
I am NOT talking about EWA,blam AMs here i am just asking generally.Once i made 34k in very short time with content locking and fb apps and my am in one network asked me if i can share my script with him...How i can say no to this..he may say that i am violating the network's terms and fuck up my payment. So i gave him the script and got paid but i still felt a little bit screwed

Do not share important things like lp's, ads, traffic sources with AM's because they will show your content to other affiliates.

If you have a good relationship with him and he is helping you to make a lot of money you can give him a gift ($), and then you can trust him.

Make screenshots/video with your account, tell him to send you an email with current revenue statement to have some proofs and if they refuse to pay, find a good lawyer and sue them!

Once you get paid, fuck him or her back, no one want to work with this type of people

Follow Donald Trump's style : you're fired ! report the incident to the network's owner, he/she will be gone forever...

You can also get a gage of how certain AM's are; if they are giving you other affiliates landing pages then that's when you need to start questioning the ethics overall. I've heard horror stories.

How do you deal with a AM that send your LP to other affiliates. Whats the best approach to avoid this from happening again.

I've been working with a certain AM for over 2 years, and I still do not share any info such as traffic sources, or LPs. Sometimes when a LP needs to be verified by the network or Adv, I send only the text as it's typically the verbiage that's under scrutiny.

Keep in mind that many Aff Networks monetize their campaigns internally..
