General Prosper202 Tracking Question
I probably missed it but after watching the P202 tutorials and reading the how-to's. My FB campaign just went live...gots some conversion but no subids to track them.
Did I set up my tracking url correct?
This is what I entered into my P202 Affiliate URL Setup page:
https://tracklead.net/blahblah&SID= (copied from network)
Did I needed to add the [subid] at the end of my URL?
It's probably something stupid but it's 130AM (PST) and trying to get this working or at least fix it.
Thanks in advance!

yep. test it out.
Also make sure you got a SSL certificate installed on your tracker domain. as most networks require a secure pixel.
If you do not have this. just contact your host support to buy one from them and let them install it.

Are you using namecheap for your domain? I believe namecheap comes with an SSL for free when you purchase your domain over there. I'm also doing like what you said as putting in an additional "s" to the http will do the trick.

if you enter a url in browser like https://www.xyz.com and you dont really have a SSL cert on it the browser will throw up an error(firefox will have a invalid SSL cert popup)saying something like this SSL certificate is invalid or expired.....so not sure how you can get a https url work without it ? if it doesnt give an error then you have a ssl cert on that domain

I would definitely not recommend name cheap for prosper202. When I was there it was SLOW and had lot's of down time. Name cheap will work at the beginning but if you are running any serious traffic I recommend something like beyondhosting.net

Dunno, works for me. Even ad networks with pixels would tell me throw an 's' on it. No problems to date.

why the hell would you need a SSL to setup a tracking pixel? Its bullshit, works fine without it.

Hi all,
If you want to use a secure pixel you need SSL. A non secure pixel won't fire on secure confirmation/ty pages.
Also, adding an s to http will not automatically make a link secure. SSL needs to be installed or it won't load. Not too much of an issue for pixels since it won't cost you money, but could be disastrous on redirect links
@The Angry Russian: You prob have hosting with SSL pre configured.

Hey Mr Baffoe, what did you mean it could be disastrous on redirect links? I don't get it, are you talking about using an SSL link will slow down the redirection?
Thanks in advance.

namecheap no longer has free SSL certs with their domains anymore. The promo ran for a long time but ended March 31. You can still buy one with a domain for 1.99, so it's still pretty cheap
