New Facebook accounts disabled immediately / asking for ID

Hey guys,

I've made a couple of FB ad accounts using new cards and shortly after they' were made they were disabled and asking for id.

Account Disabled

Sorry, your account has been temporarily disabled as a security precaution. Please contact us so we can help you resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
Can you avoid this auto disable if you use a PVA to create ads? I'm assuming their filter system might consider PVAs to be legit?

I've been using different names for ad accounts but keeping AVS details the same (street number, zip, etc).

They definitely take into account the CC address when verifying new accounts.

Yeah the credit card does pose an issue as the name on the cc has to be the same on the account for them to verify it. Now if you lost your personal ads account under your name then getting another one may be difficult. I guess you could register cards in yoru families name and open facebook accounts in their name using their passports/driving licences but how long can you go on like that for?

True. I thought you could use any name you wanted when opening up an account. I have an account right now with a card of mine and I'm using a totally different name than what is on the card. Wonder what is triggering the auto disables of new accounts or if that is just something they do randomly / more frequently now.

You CAN use any name as the auto verification system only checks the postcode I think. However all new accounts get disabled now and need verification to re enable them. When the manual reviewer sees there is a diff name between the credit card you registered and your passport details the account gets permanently disabled.

The only way around is to have credit card names in your friends and family. Set them up as employees of your business and order supplementary cards for them. Use their ID's as proof and you are good to go.

That's the thing. They only want an ID to verify the name that you entered as the card holder matches right? I'm just assuming, since you can use any name when filling out billing details, can't I just use their name with one of my cards and then use their ID to verify?

Or do you know if Facebook is starting to ask for a scan of the actual credit card?

Why would FB ask for a scan of the credit card?

If they're doing this to combat fraud, then it would be to prove that you have access to the physical card. I've never been asked for my card by FB though. I doubt that would ever happen but you never know!
