Minimum Volume

After reading this topic some questions came to my mind.

What is a minimum volume for you when you are making a decision to run or to drop a campaign?

I have some campaigns on POF that spent like $0.50-$2 per day. Off course some of them can bring a nice and stable ROIs but I don't know if it's worth to still manage them. As we all know nothing works on auto-pilot, so even if the campaign can bring you stable ROI for some time, something can happen later. Offer can die, scrub can be higher, CTR will drop etc. That's why I'm asking you about the volume and overall cost per day. Sometimes I need like 15 minutes to optimize a campaign that can spend 2$ per day on 100% ROI and same amount of time to optimize another campaign that can spend 50$/day on 100% ROI too.

Let's take a PPV as a next example You have one campaign with one good lander and offer that works good with this traffic. Let's say that you have 30 targets. Some targets have low volume and some have bigger, but overall you can spend around $100 per day on them. All 30 targets can bring you 30%-100% ROI. Sounds good.
But what about a situation when you have 30 ONLY low volume targets and you can spend only $1 per day on all of them? You can't add more targets for this specific lander and angle because they wont work, you can only use 30 that you actually have but there is no more volume, even after porting this campaign to other PPV networks you still can spend only $1-3 per day.
You ROI is around 75% for the first 5 days but it starts to be more unstable. After next few days you will have to change your lander a little bit or do something to stay profitable. Off course profit is profit but is this campaign worth YOUR time? Would you drop this campaign?

I don't know if the examples and my explanation are good but I hope it makes sense for you. I'm hoping for great input, as always on STM
