Lifespan of a Facebook Ads account... (4)

Lifespan of a Facebook Ads account...

Hey guys,

When running offers on FB that aren't necessarily in line with their terms - for example, email submits, co-reg, etc... how long do you find your accounts typically last?

Even when cloaking I've lost accounts after 2-3 months of reasonable usage. I'm pretty confident in my cloaker, but, like any cloaker it's not going to be bulletproof.

I've seen some other tactics being used such as setting short lived cookies via a URL redirect to allow a specific offer to be visible for about 30-45 minutes and then expire (i.e., if a user direct links or returns the offer just won't show). Could that be one of you guys?

Just wondering what kind of usage you guys manage to pull out of fairly "dirty" accounts before you get the axe.

It's all random for me... I run a little against their terms and my accounts last from 5 minutes to several months... it just depends on your tactics and habits..

I heard that pausing/activating campaigns often can sometimes flag your account for review, Having an amazing CTR also can get your account flagged

I am trying this new thing, While on one account I run my real campaigns, on my other ones I do small tests on low scales with gaming offers (clean stuff). Then when that account gets banned I take one of my "clean" accounts and run my real campaigns there

I heard that can increase your account's life-span and also using that method I can make money and at the same time learn a new vertical

The lifespan of an FB account breaking the TOS...

5 minutes to several months... I think you just answered your own question. Surely, it's only ever as long as it takes FB to find you out?

Yea thats true but I guess if your not banned within the first day then you can take some steps to stay under the radar, ex: spend little by little and keep raising your budget slowly, run clean stuff at first so they don't pay as much attention etc..
