Starting with POF, is it Good ?

Hello Stackers,

So after reading few threads here I came to know that pof is by far easiest for noobs like me to start in this paid traffic game. So am gonna give it a shot to it, but before I start am running into few confusions so just want some help from you guys.

The very first thing is am not able to decide which offer to go for, I mean am seeing several offers here at ploose but really confused which one to pick ?

Does offers like justhookup work on POF ?

I know they wont approve it as a direct link but what sort of LP should i look forward for this kind of offer ?

I am not saying that I want to promote JHU only but need your suggestions on that....also which strategy should I go for ? Direct link or LP ?

I'm also starting out at POF now.

Regarding your offer, talk to your AM about it to check which offer converts well at POF. In POF, it allows advertisers to direct link to their offer. I believe landing page will be a better choice, though I'm doing direct linking for a start to test out the offer. If the offer is converting well via direct link, then I will move on to test landing page.

I'm also thinking about starting with POF. I constantly see examples about dating offers and nonstop talk about doing dating offers. Are dating offers really okay for noobs? Isn't that market highly competitive and filled with so many affiliates that it can get saturated?

If noobs have a good chance of churning profits with dating offers I'm willing to give them a shot, but I also want to try a different niche. I wonder what other niches will work on POF besides dating.

I spoke to my AM and he says he has limited access to his account so he cant say me which offers work well for pof, please suggest me any good network.

Yeah dating offers certainly do well enough for noobs atleast what I have seen so far, although i have never tried them with paid traffic like pof etc. but I was promoting them through free social traffic and they were doing good for me. Basic funda is you have to drive horny guys to the offer and if you can do that you never have to worry about the conversions. Some of them will fill out the sign up forms to have some girls into there life... :P

To answer it in short.. YES POF is great for beginning in AM...

Maynzie posted it, and I can speak from experience that following that will have you making money.

Yes dating works, yes it is saturated, yes you should use an LP (there are tons to find, take bits and pieces from each), and I've never ran JHU before, there's a thread about disapproved offers on POF in the POF section, check to see if it's on there.

But other than that, follow Maynzies advice, keep things simple, and just keep testing and weeding out non-performing ads!

Thanks dubbsy I will follow that guide and get started with that route myself! I just need to find some images I can start using for creatives so that my AM can approve me for the offers I want to run.

POF is a very easy traffic source to conquer, as long as you yeah as dubbsy pointed out KISS (keep it simple STACKER)

Start with a niche offer, something along the lines of the niches I mentioned in that post, and direct link it works. But when you become more comfortable, then try out split testing landing pages, nothing crazy simple works once again

If you go the affexpert tools tab in this forum then plenty of fish spy tool, you can see numerous styles of landers for inspiration.

Always keep on the progression of new pics from sources like thechive.com or theberry.net and you'll be sweet

Looking forward to seeing a success story mate

Thanks for your stuff bro I can see you are a master when it comes to pof your every post i have has something good in them, you are always helping noobs like us. Am still getting the grasp of it and trying to learn as much as possible before jumping thanks again

One drop of action is worth more than a bucket of information!

Read all day, but reading isn't going to tell you how to handle the situations you're put in when you actually jump in the fire. Develop a short system and learn more and grow it as you go.

Absolutely brother I know and that has been the problem with me lately but i guess now i need to move on and take some action. That 1:2 ratio is good i guess and can increase my ROI lol :P

I also hate these offers.

The only one I actively promote is Just Hookup, using free traffic from my own niche sites.

They are unreliable as hell for paid traffic.

Maynzie's advice to go niche is golden, whether that means choosing a niche offer, or taking a niche spin on a general broader offer. You want to take several steps away from the competition to give yourself the best chance of success.

Hi Vipinext, maybe you already found it but you can also look for offers PoF doesn't allow there. I'm trying to focus on PoF only as I am only starting out as well and after 1 month of taking it more seriously, following the advice on posts by Maynzie, Finch, words from DrNgo and other great forum members I've managed to pull over $120 in profit on my best day last week, I am now profitable and this has been in a very short time. Definitely you have to put in some work, but making money on PoF is 10000% doable.
