Inmobi Tokens?

Can anyone share the inmobi dynamic tokens for tracking...cant see them anywhere

This question has been asked dozens of times.

They do not have tokens, do not support conversion tracking and don't plan on doing it anytime soon. They have a new tracker they are launching 1 May BUT it only works if you can integrate the API - this means you have to own the offer. This will allow them to optimize Publishers and SiteID's at the back-end.

They did experiment with tokens a while back but stopped it. They don't want to be too hands on with performance markets.

Its very important to build a relationship with someone there.

thanks for the info. any good contacts there? the AM they gave me is some random guy in Bangalore...I'm assuming that's not the best guy to build a relationship with

They are all based in Bangalore. Its an Indian company. They are all very random and its very hard to find someone there who's willing to help you.

Ask them if you can sign a $10k IO - that's when their eyes light up. The AM's all work off commission. Forget about email. Pick up the phone. Be a company - don't be another affiliate.

Yep. Drop the affiliate mentality and start behaving like a media buyer. Watch what happens.

I wanted to get some AUS traffic, to expand the first mobile offer that is backing out for me.

I had originally plunked $100 on Inmobi, thinking it would be good for Italy. Didn't work. So I said shit, let's try Australia...

WTF, no impressions.

Then I said, well shit let's call them. Good luck finding a number. The number for San Fran (which i googled, because there are no freaking numbers on their website!) says fuck you go to the web site.

Why is it, when you ask a question via email, that is bound to somebody in India, you know deep in your gut that it will be a complete waste of time. You ask one question, and you get an answer for what seems like another question?

So I searched "inmobi" on Skype. Found a lovely women you works for them in Aussie land. We texted back and forth. She did shed light:

your bids look about right, can you send your account name and we will get someone to look at it internally
give us a bit and we will check it out
No that's ok. Asking one of my campaign managers to have a quick look at it
>my campaign manager had a look at your campaign and everything seems to be in order
>However, he recommends you include wifi in your targeting - this makes up a large part of our inventory
>We would also recommend increasing your bids for 3, vodafone, telstra and optus
me:
this advertiser doesn't want wifi thought
Her:
we have some rather large campaigns running in those networks so it may be blocking your traffic
So basically "FUCK YOUR PISS ANT, we have Branders overpaying for our blind shit"

But she was nice.... I paraphrased just a tad...

yea they're seeming like a waste of time from my initial tests and my god is their interface terrible.

If you spend $500+ per day per campaign you can get publisher ID integrated in your tracking system.

Ruchi.InMobi @ Skype has been very helpful.

Be aware, there is a lot of adult traffic - they can manually filter it out if you spend $500+/day.

@ Durden - have you been able to make it work?

I spent a lot of time on the phone with their "tech team" and we could not get it to work. Its designed to integrate with Apps or you have to place quite a bit of code on the landing page (if you have access to it)
