Hey STM'rs
I have had and am having some success with dating on FB. Do you guys think its a good idea if I move into mobile dating?
I signed up with jumptap and after hearing the big numbers possible with mobile it caught my attention.
I need some advice, I want to move on to something else before FB completely slaps us in the face like google did.
Just a quick word of advice - make sure you're milking your successful campaign for 110% of what it's worth...
Make sure it's running in several countries/languages and make sure you have some extra creatives up your sleeve.
It's WAY easier to make more money by optimizing your current successful campaigns before learning an entirely new traffic source. I dont want to discourage you from learning new traffic sources - just be able to look back on your successful campaign without any regret :-)
I will definitely be working on my current campaign, I just want to maybe learn mobile in my spare time, when waiting for approval or just waiting to see how my new campaign/ad will do in x hours.
I just don't want to sit around when I can be doing something

Why not scale on Facebook? You have so many scaling options and I honestly think that you can do much bigger numbers on Facebook with dating than with mobile. Yes, you can do big numbers with mobile but conversions are super low compared to Facebook.
Running dating on mobile is VERY different from running dating on Facebook.
Better to conquer your home territories first. The person above had some good advice. Try new angles, expand to the opposite sex, try new countries, go direct with an advertiser, etc. If you wanna expand on dating, I think going over to POF might be better since the traffic sources are more similar.
A big problem I see with newer guys is they spread themselves too thin in the beginning.
Out of curiosity, How hard is it to get 1k a day with mobile?
I want to expand. I want to be ready if Facebook makes the next "Google Slap"

It is true mobile dating is much different from FB and will take you time to get there. I'm a strong believer in diversifying and FB scares me for the same reason Google does in that they have too much power can can literally turn off your business as easy as flipping on a light switch.
Make sure you keep on change the offers and see the payouts for that and the countries for the offers.
Keep an eye on the market what's going on.Then see the difference .
