Geographic Targeting

noobie here and I had a question about targeting different countries. I have an offer that I feel is pretty niche and my network has offers to Austrailia and the UK only. My question is does one country typically convert better? I will be using POF. Thanks.

you want to split test them so you can keep them apart. the ctr's for each ad might be widely different in each country. countries like the UK, US, CA, AUS etc will tend to convert better than places like africa or whatever

just wondering why this is? countries like UK, US, CA, AU are constantly bombarded with ads - wouldn't the responsive rate decrease because of this?

there is a reason there being constantly bombarded with ads

you have to think it's all connected, ie countries with lower conversion rates usually have cheaper traffic so although the conversion rate and epc may not be appealing at first glance, you can make some serious ROI on them still.

i've seen a lot of countries that convert way better than the english speaking ones..so i'd say it really depends on the country

yeah i do agree, i didn't mean it to sound as a clear cut rule, it also depends on the offer too on what is required from the user. ie rebill vs dating vs submits etc etc
